It looks nothing like Drowzee, but yes, it's real.

The last thing Drowzee needed was pre-evolution. Poor Hypno (not that I cared either way).

mewthree looks godlike
I wouldn't consider that a infinite since you have to make your opponent bounce of the wall and if you do it on the wrong side of the stage the stage interaction would activate.

Actually...

I believe that Drowzee pre evolution was debunked at some point... So I'm pretty sure it's fake. If it wasn't. Wouldn't it be confirmed at this point?

Checked all the major sources and it hasn't shown up at any point so I guess it's a fake.

Nothing from Serebii about the pre-evo of Drowzee.

Guess it is a fake.

But back on the point of Newtwo...

Like I said. I'm really liking it now.

...

I even made a sprite for it. (And an odd fusion of it and Zero-Two.)

But yeah. I wonder what it's stats will be?

Oh right! I thought whatshisface was talking about the Mewthree thing - I didn't see the Drowzee pre-evo because the image didn't load :P

Nice sprite you've got there _Data_Drain_ ;)

My theory is that tt will have a 720 base stat total like Arceus, get speed boost as its ability and moody as its hidden ability, can learn Nasty Plot, learn radical new special moves like Searing Shot and Draco Meteor, and will be a Psychic/Dragon type just to add more resistances to it.

I'm also under the impression that people keep neglecting data from the game, do you guys know how PotS made his original characters? He actually studied every single game he referenced, down to the core. Doing this properly requires understanding how the original system was made, not just winging it.

Psychic/Dark??

Funny you should mention that. Found a supposed leaked list of gen 6 Pokemon that mentions a Dark/Psychic type in there, but the list's authenticity is questionable at best (Chespin evolving into Grass/Steel? A normal type baby form for Pansage/Pansear/Panpour, as well as a new Dark/Psychic/Fighting monkey trio? Dragon/Rock baby form for Druddigon? Baby forms for Tropius, Skarmory, Throh, and Sawk? Delibird evolution? Fighting/Flying type Yveltal? Ghost/Normal base 600 legendary?)

I can always post it if anyones that interested.

You limit yourself so badly when you try to avoid variables. When you get over your fear of the "complexity" of variables, you will find yourself in a better place: A beautiful world where coding is actually fun.

Smogon'll have a wondrous time making up strategies to go with it, not that I honestly care what Smogon comes up with.

The early strategy period is actually going to be really interesting this time round since we can't datamine the ROM for info like we've been able to for the past several years. Until the release of a (potentially incomplete and inaccurate) strategy guide or a DLC for the Pokedex apps, we have very little on the base stats for the new Pokemon, or their moves and any changes to the movesets of old Pokemon.

It's quite likely we won't even know of the existence of a lot of new Pokemon until people start going through the game from start to finish - unlike when we had screenshots of every single sprite in Black/White days before the Japanese release date.

I kinda hope they don't reveal all the Pokémon this time - you can't beat that feeling when you encounter a Pokémon you've never seen before and you're left wondering its type. For me, it was Croagunk.

Though at the same time, I'm one of those people who like to know the EV yield of a Pokémon (so I don't go fighting a bunch of speed yielders with my slow-arse rock, for example).

Yeah... This is one thing I'm mildly worried about.

Since you can't check IVs/EVs accurately in game. It's gonna be REALLY hard to get a competitive Pokemon in these games.

Since there won't be any tools to work with... So beating the Battle Frontier type place in this game might be even tougher. Since they'll have 31 on all IVs, where as you won't even know if you have good IVs...

That has the potential to be interesting though, especially since there's apparently a new friendship bond mechanic that'll be coming out. This means Pokemon fights could potentially stop being so mechanical and being more about the bonds with your Pokemon just like the plot told us for almost every game
