No. Portal only had two stupidly popular memes. Tohou, Team Fortress 2 and MLP have a complete bestiary of memes that you see everywhere.
Really, that kind of transportive technology shouldn't even exist in their universe. Shouldn't they use coachwagons or something?Darkflare said, January 28, 2012, 07:11:57 pmOh come on, you know it's true.-Both have popularities that suddenly exploded.-Both have easily tellable fans of it-Both just have to be spread like a plague and BE PUT IN EVERYTHING.-If America had copyright policies as loose as Japan's you can be pretty damn sure there would be a shit ton of MLP doujins around, just like Touhou.I'll give the edge to Touhou for having pretty cool songs though. But yea, MLP = America TouhouMLP bus is inevitable. MC2 said, January 28, 2012, 07:13:35 pmThe similarities are with the fans, not the product. I would much rather say the MLP fanbase is almost at Sonic levels in a mere fraction of the time that even took. And I mean that in the worst way possible.Cyan Paul said, January 28, 2012, 08:40:34 pmRepostin'Oh for fuck's sakes lol
TempesT said, January 28, 2012, 08:42:13 pmWhat the hell is that? WHAT THE HELL IS THAT???Hair styles for a fellatio flash game called 'SuperDeepThroat'. It's highly customizable and it lets you change a lot of things like hair, dialogue, skin colors and implement mods like earrings or more perverted stuff.
MC2 said, January 27, 2012, 11:32:44 pmWhy the karts? They're horses, shouldn't they be able to run faster than most vehicles anyway? The FAQ said:Why are they riding in vehicles? Why don't they just run around instead?Firstly you wouldn't be able to have anything like drifting. Secondly, how would you even balance that? How could you make sure a character who can fly faster than the speed of sound has an equal chance of winning as a character who's scared of her own shadow? You couldn't. The karts serve as a sort of "equalizer" to make sure the characters are all "fair". No wings and no magicThere you go.
MLP: Fighting is Magic?Pony Carts are pretty original for me, but I would really like to see Pony Party or MLP game similiar to Crash Bandicoot games.

Darkflare is still right, imo.The fans are what I was referring to anyway. And as popular as TF2 is, I don't think it exploded as quickly as MLP did. Also MLP has stuff like Bronies....BTW, I expect this game to be ridiculously easy or have the WTF catch up AI of Super Mario Kart.

DrKelexo said, January 29, 2012, 02:19:35 amwhy dont mlp fans do something originalYeah, and why don't everyone else justify themselves to you? "Original" is just a matter of how closely you look, pretty much everything ever created was just a different way of piecing known concepts together
