I have some friends that are bronies here in Idaho, and some back in my old hometown in California, so I share it openly with them. My family... Well, there was an incident regarding my liking ponies last weekend...

Was there ever any doubt?

I got my hands of a copy of the Fighting is Magic leak, and I've been faffing around with it for a bit.  The first thing that struck me is how good the game looks.  Seeing it on streams or on youtube is one thing, but the game is simply gorgeous when you've got it up and running yourself.

The gameplay feels pretty good, too.  It's obviously an alpha that no one was supposed to play, so I can't say for sure what's supposed to be how it is and what's just unfinished, but it's looking great so far.  The focus seems to be on stringing together long, flashy combos but it's not as mash-friendly as, say, MvC3.  There's definitely a technical side to this game, and you need to really know what you're doing to get the most out of it.

I mentioned it once around my sisters when we were discussing tv shows in general, saying it's a great show and pretty much the only thing I watch these days besides Breaking Bad and Dexter. They didn't really react at all to it, assuming it was an adult swim like cartoon or something. Unspectacular. :rugoi:

I did avoid it once on christmas dinner with family and close friends when we were talking about what books we were reading at the time, because I really did not feel like explaining a Fallout / MLP crossover to everyone ;P

Well, if you must know...

I had my pony toys in the backseat area of my car where I thought they would be out of sight. My dad and I were trying to fix my car (Overheating), my mom looks into the backseat area, spies my ponies, then we get into a shouting match that I lost right off the bat because I didn't get any room to make my case. They were worried I was becoming gay and/or not growing up, so they're telling me to get rid of them and my liking of MLP altogether, or it might cost me my adulthood once I graduate from college.

well that does suck mang. and well did you had to throw away your ponies? D:

as for me no one besides my partner in crime knows i like ponies (that is my niece of course). she is the one who got me interested in teh first place. we watch the show together i have a pony folder in my hdd because of her and every g4 pony she owns was bought by me (except applejack that was given to her by some relatives but i was the one who told her go her her ponies)... in fact: here they are. (missing in pic: the mane 5 mini ponies. and i say mane 5 inside the box because for some reason they never released fluttershy).

my sister (her mom) would be only one who knows i watch ponieswith her but i guess she eitehr thinks i just watch it with her rather than liking the show the way i do or is perfeclty fine with it, oh well.

They want me to, but I haven't. I actually plan on meeting a pegasister (Female brony) I met earlier this year tomorrow and having her hold on to them for me until things die down or I get my own place. Yeah, I still live with my folks, but that's how it is until I finish my degree and get a job.

I'll take a pic tomorrow before they go out. I have each of the Mane 6 customized to be slightly more show accurate (The same pegasister I'm meeting tomorrow helped with Rainbow Dash and Applejack), and DVDs (Those are easier to hide than the ponies).

The Pinkie, Twilight, Rarity and Fluttershy ones were made by me using some tutorials I found on DeviantArt. Rainbow and Applejack were done by a friend of mine, and she's currently watching over my collection until I get my own place.

Also, those pics... Wow, I definitely wasn't expecting that. I will say that the Crystal Kingdom looks really sweet. Trixie, looks like she's gone total villain since getting her rep destroyed by Twilight (Maybe seeking vengeance?).

Can't deny that watching a show for little girls about ponies is a little gay, tho...


just now found this little gem: following rule 42 ("if it exists, there is a pony version of it") there is pony soundcloud: eqbeats. it's pretty much a no bullshit deal. no ads, no nothing, just music. :)

I talked to one of the devs, the whole thing is written in plain C++ talking raw fcgi (with sql backend, obviously). Which is quite impressive, I must say :yesgoi:
