Going by his logic, a respectable woman shall never engage with a former / active pornstar.

And please do not come to me with the "a key that can unlock any lock is a master key, but a lock that can be unlocked by any key is a shitty lock" logic.

People should do whatever they want with their lives and no one should give two shits about it, that's how I grew up learning.

Now if you really want to be treated with respect... I suggest you START respecting people regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, sexual orientation or religion.

If people would set a "standard" for a "respectable" man or woman I'd be mad, that stinks. I'm sorry guys...

Oh I understand, but what I don't understand is why people think it's not "respectable" to make a living the way you want. You can't do anything nowadays without being judged, and that's what stinks for me.

Sure, she does film sex with other people for money. But that doesn't necessarily mean she's cheating. It's part of her job.

IMO, if it's in the past and she's retired, I'd be okay with it. If current, well, it'd be a lot more complicated but I imagine as long as there is a LOT of communication between partners, it's at least feasible.

I see extramarital sex as I see drugs. If you allow it, then that means you can set rules and expectations within that (ie: "If you want to sleep with this guy, I want to meet him first, and also you have to let me have sex with this girl who you can meet," etc). If you just say no, then if you want it, you have to sneak around, and when things go wrong, they can go really wrong.

Or you could stop getting so caught up in semantics and understand that in normal conversation it isn't necessary for one to specify that a particular idea (especially if expressed by oneself in this context) is one's own personal point of view since it's already implied and you can also stop being a stuck up forum user and stop pretending to be important.

You're full of shit. There's nothing about your own point of view in this sentence, you're explicitly saying that anyone who does that is not respectable period. And don't say that "I meant it's someone at least I won't find respectable, although others may have a different opinion and respect them" because that would be extremely shitty full speed backpedaling hypocrisy. No one says "he's not respectable" and only mean "I wouldn't respect him", "respectable" doesn't make sense if you only meant that, it can only apply for everyone at once, it's only "most people would respect him".
If that's not what you meant, then this is entirely your own fault for saying horse shit and being incapable of expressing yourself correctly, you have no idea what the words you're using mean.
