Hello, everyone.

I'm gonna introduce my project, named Konata.

I've got some GIF files for you.




First, the combo.



There are so many combos in this character, I just show you one of them.




Then, walking and crouching motion






Finally, some special moves.






I think I've done pretty well.

Glad to receive any kind of comments.

I fixed the image problem!

I used imgur and everything works fine!

The animation is very smooth and overall well done, but I can't get past the fact that she's standing underneath the floor. It's just weird. Also the crouch could use some work. It should actually lower the character's height and provide some sort of benefit. Currently, it just looks like a secondary stance.

I agree on the crouching part.

This looks really interesting though. Can't wait to see this completed.

My only concern is if she'll be fair to fight. Something about her moves seem a bit too safe. It looks like she has moves that target the player no matter where they are but maybe i'm looking at the gif wrong.

I don't doubt she'll be fun either way, but if you can make her balanced then more people may be interested once she's finished.

No problem. You know, it's not all bad to have a really tall character. You can make her stand on the floor, so you'd just see her legs, but then she could have moves where she bends down and looks at the ants she's fighting. Maybe she grabs them and lifts them up. A Helper to move the camera could help with pulling off the effect. Then the crouch would make more sense, because she'd be crouching down and you'd see her full body, or at least most of it. :)

As you already concerned, she wouldn't be fair to fight, because she can't be lifted up in the air.

And, right. Some moves have so unfair range, which makes every hit, no matter where the enemy is.

I'm planning to change it to the hyper move which consumes the special gauge. (Blue gauge, which is located at the top-left of the image.)

I added some new images!



1. Critical system

If the Critical gauge (Blue gauge, top-left) reaches maximum, then the critical hit occurs for every hit!

Critical hit deals twice damage, and uses another hit spark.





2. Guard crush system

If the Guard crush gauge (Red gauge, top-left) reaches maximum, and if the enemy guarded her attack,

then the guard crush happens.





3. Bounce system

If the enemy is falling down and the y-velocity of enemy is high enough,

then the enemy will bound up high that makes the player do another combo.





Any kind of comments will be thankfully received.

Animations are very well done.

are you going to have cameos of the other characters?

also uh.. why don't you make her smaller? right now I think it's good, because I feel as if she was to make herself in a MUGEN she would probably make herself something like this anyway.
