Hey guys, the day has finally arrived! The demo has finally arrived and you can get it in the link below.

*UPDATED* June 23rd
https://dl.dropbox.com/s/glcefv8csopg4cj/Project%20Z.E.D%20Demo.zip

==========================================================
PATCH NOTES June 23rd
==========================================================

A slight update to the demo has been made

- Inch jump light kick attacking hitbox increased horizontally. Making it a little easier to cross up opponents.

- Added Backthrows

- Removed short hops.

- During Pre-fight intros, won't have control of characters until 'Engage' animation is over

- Corner push system takes effect after 13 hits. To prevent corner infinites

- Supers aren't affected by damage scaling. Damage has been reduced on all supers

- New Music for the Car Park stage done by Jeremiah George

I recommend deleting your old folder in place for this one.

==========================================================

I decided to make a quick tutorial outlining the game's system mechanics, since I don't think I ever fully explained in much detail about them.
Some of the music in the demo are just place holders (i.e City Stage and Car Park Stage) until I can get some original music made for them.
Hope you find this video useful and hope you enjoy the demo! Be sure to leave tons of feedback. :D

Awesome, i'm about to try it out now.

Also just letting you know in your download link, instead of putting www. you can put dl. so people don't have to go to dropbox site to download the game. They can just click the link and it will download automatically.

I like this! Great!

Feedback:
- the burst move (b+y) can be performed also when you're dead;
- the Movelist can be viewed also before the "Round 1, Fight!";

Inch:
- it's a bit difficult to do but you can chain:
crouching light kick (or light punch) -> crouching strong punch -> little jump -> air light kick -> air strong punch (or strong kick) -> repeat;

this leads to an infinite;
- the blood is in low res;

+ I like everything though, the lifebars, the soundtracks, the characters; all has a professional feeling.
Well, almost all because there is still some default stuff. But who cares! :)

Keep going! :)

Woah this looks REALLY impressive bro, NOICE sprites. Is this all in 1.0 or 1.1? Either way, it should probably work on my PC.
Thanks for this unique share :)

Very nice it's been a long time since I have enjoyed a project like this. The hard work and effort put into this is very evident.

Keep it up

Hey guys thanks for all the feedback so far, I really appreciate it. :)

@Alex
Damn! I thought I removed all the hop cancel infinites. >.<
I'm gonna end up removing small hops and that should stop it. I think there is not much point of having it in.

As for the blood fx I think I'll just make replace with a new hit spark

And I'll be sure to remove the remaining default assets. :)

Great job man, I really love the combo style, simple but very do-able :)

Some feedback...

-Those cinematic Lvl3 supers omg :datass:

Inch
-He spams this combo at me in arcade mode, I think it was that infinite Alex was talking about since he keeps on going for a while and it's quite annoying since it very difficult to break out of it. It's that or maybe I just suck at fighting games lol

Jonathan
-Damn this guy is amazing.
-His QFC+P move's sprite crops off at an odd place

City Tops Stage
-The deltas are too moving IMO. I think you should separate those back buildings into more layers if possible and put them at different deltas, although I suggest making them closer to 1,1 than what you have right now

Lifebars
-I find that the health meter sprites are too similar to the original mugen 1.0 bars, maybe changing them to blue or white would suit the overall colors scheme of the life bars better
-Also I think you should use different hitsparks, the ones you have right now seem a bit low-res compared to everything else

Really nice game man, I'm really diggin' your work, especially the sprites :)

- When you get hit (Inch or Jonathan) and you press the Movelist button (start) you get stuck, you can't do anything;
- I think the combo crouching light punch -> crouching light kick (for Inch) is a bit too fast to do, maybe you could make it like Jonathan's. Unless it was done on purpose, in which case, don't mind this.

Hey guys, I'm currently working on a mini update that should fix the non-graphical problems you guys have listed so far. At this point I want the overall gameplay to be as solid as possible.

@Alex and Junes
Thanks for the feedback guys, I've made note of these and I'll be sure to fix them. Keep the feedback coming. :)

The gameplay is quite solid as it is IMO, I love how the dash feature actually hits the opponent, it makes my life a lot easier to combo now :)

Another thing bro, I think the super moves cause too much damage. For example, when I was playing against Inch he did the lvl3 super out of nowhere and I somehow lost the mach. Perhaps the damage should be toned down a bit, especially for the lvl1 super moves.
