I am thinking............what can we do to promote MUGEN and MFG?

Is Youtube the main tool for promoting MUGEN now?

In Google search, when I enter "mugen forum", the top search result is MFG forums, which is quite good.
In Yahoo search, when I enter "mugen forum", the top search result is IMT forums and the 2nd one is MFG forums, which is still good.
In Bing search, when I enter "mugen forum", MFG forums isn't on the first page, which is not good.

I bring up this topic because I have a feeling that MUGEN and related forums now have gotten less attention when compared to about five years ago.

Will launching more MUGEN online-catalog or database or photo album or videos web sites help a bit?
Will creating more high-quality original stuff for MUGEN help a bit?
Will converting more newer game stuff for MUGEN help a bit?

Will newsletter and RSS help promote MUGEN a bit?

Is there an official or unofficial MUGEN Facebook entry?  At least for MFG?

Are there any MUGEN fans who are in some Internet Marketing fields?

Last one but also the biggest one:  Is it possible to unite all creators/convertors around the globe and team up to make something revolutionary?  Like upgrading/revamping all existing creations?

I know my mind now is going unrealistic................ :alien:

It's supper time!

4: so?
5: so?
6: No they're getting more, 5 years ago they were very dead.

No, No, No, No. Yes for that one. Doesn't matter. No.

I thought about making a stage which does a homage for the guild, so it's not necessary?

^I'd play on it, depending on how it looked.

I don't see why we'd want to promote MFG any more than it already is. Sure, let's attract every new guy on the block, then we have ten Mahboy's and Donutman's.

You limit yourself so badly when you try to avoid variables. When you get over your fear of the "complexity" of variables, you will find yourself in a better place: A beautiful world where coding is actually fun.

Most people were worse than them when they joined, they arent that bad, its just that people with low self esteem rather mock them than help them improve.

Werewood if you want to promote, use the facebook page maybe, spread news from there and that kind of stuff, but it shouldny really be needed, focus on doing what you like.

Y'know, Iced, you have a point. We all start somewhere. It's actually pretty hypocritical of me to say new people are bad when new people are what help us grow, and the fact I'm also only a year old.  :-X

Promoting Mugen? Isnt that Elecbytes work?

Maybe somebody could do Mugen championship at his place to interest SF/KOF/MK fans with Mugen and promote MFG by makin' posters with its logo or put their Logo & web adress in selectscreen/anywhere.

Lol, I imagine annoucement: "SF vs KOF vs Marvel vs MK Mugen Championship"
Everyone could pay 1$/1€ to enter and prize is 50% (Lets say its 50) of money you gathered.

Im sure theres somebody on MFG involved to any Fighting Games tournaments.

I remember seeing something on Random Select about one of their members participating in a Melty Blood tournament/EVO. Can't remember his name, which is surprising, since I'm pretty sure it's someone known.
