Hey there, I just got a naruto game for PS2 but my computer is too weak to run a ps2 emulator. Is there anyway I can get my ps2 to show on my computer screen so I can rip sprites from the game for a mugen character?
3D Games don't have sprites, and ya you can get your ps2 to show on your pc screen...Ripping from Narutimate hero(or accel) is almost impossible. the movements are like 20 frames..the characters have diffrent lighting on diffrent stages, etc...
You could run it through a video capture device like Dazzle or sumthing. Then once you recorded what you want, go through the video frame by frame "ripping" the image ( When I mean rip I mean taking each and every frame, saving it as a picture, then cleaning [eraseing] everything that you dont need). Tough, I know.

I just need a base to work from. You guys should check out what some mugen guys are doing with those budokai "sprites". I'm looking just to get basic standing, punching, blocking throwing and editing them. its just a good base to start from. Thanks for the info bobbob, i will have to look into that.
I think it IS possible to sprite characters of ps2 emulators.I mean why else would someone post videos of his creations of the KH2 Cloud on a video website? Looked funny though and moved kinda awkward, I don't think mugen can read all those 3D steps.I'll try to find video of Cloud again and post it on here.
