Aaaah The Goliath Birdeater: The second largest spider in the world.
Seeing one this big is rare. The overall leg span can reach close to a single foot (roughly 11 Inches by measurement.)
This looks larger than normal estimate size.

thankfully they do not actually eat birds XD.
They're not dangerous to humans as well. Worse you will get is a painful bite which is no different from being pecked by a chicken and irritation if its hairs reach your nostrils/eyes. Both of which will happen if you decide to play stupid and startle them.

I think the only thing that would make this creature even cuter is if it had those black eyes spiders are known for. Icing on the cake would be being able to play fetch with it (preferably frisbiees), walking it on a leash (to prevent it from lunging at birds in the park) and if it went on its backside when you rubbed it's belly. And maybe if it's fur was a little thicker.

I'd name him "Thing" or "The Ocho."

Jumping spiders are intelligent, cute, HELL Some species in regards to weather actually wear water droplets as a hat to cool themselves!
My dad had a pet jumping spider when I was younger. At start it was as big as my index fingernail, but when he fed her (it was female) it grew BEYOND Scientific proportion. The final molt before she died showed her overall size to be as big as the top digit of my thumb!

I don't think I'm arachnophobic, but I grew up watching my mom being scared as hell of spiders (seems like it is linked to some childhood episode).
I can handle insects; they are disgusting, but that's it. Spiders on the other hand can harm/kill you and look like critters sent by satan to haunt me in my nightmares and after I wake up.

There was this time when a tiny scorpion sneaked into the lodge I was staying with my GF on my vacaction. Hearing from someone that smaller scorpions are more venomous, I had to kill the thing with a broomstick.

A scorpion is not a spider, though. Scorpions as a species have way more members that can kill you, whereas like only 3% of spider species can kill you (I'm just guessing with that number).
