What does he think is going to happen? Does he think somehow a Mugen forum is less likely to jack his story than a writing forum?
I wouldn't mind sharing the parody AMV I just revised (Whoo hoo, lip sync is near perfect!), and of course the MUGEN character I keep attempting to finish. But these two novels are like children to me. Besides, I wrote that whole wall of text in a fit of anxiety, up to the point where I had to lie down afterwards. I get real nervous saying anything about the contents (plot, characters,etc.) of my novels outside of friends and family.In the time frame I sent out the preview to a few friends on that anime forum, I also sent it to Mark and [E] on here. I'm open to sharing with JNP too. But I'm not comfortable sharing it to the public in unpublished form.Writing forums are the exception, because they usually have a thread or a line of text in the footer that says "Works are copyright of original owners", are affiliated with Creative Commons or something else of that nature to protect the copyrights of their members' works. For something like the parody AMV, jeez, Ohayocon is like an hour and 41 minute drive from where I am (I'm not even an experienced driver yet to go that far.). My M.U.G.E.N character is an edit of a video game character anyways, so nothing about copyright there. Those two works are what I would share anywhere.
