hey hey !
got a Question on characters ripping,
i use "3DRipperDX" for getting the characters
now when i import a character into 3d max.. i get it like this :


i want to know how to fix it XD i tried in many ways but i failed,
dont know alot about character Modeling but all i want to do is Un-Squeeze it and make it more smooth
* tried turbo smooth but still  :-\ *

you are gonna have to mess with the height and width transform operations to unsqueeze it, and then fix it manually.

That is due to the FOV value. You can either try playing with it and reripping the model, or use the scale tool to stretch it out to about how big you think it needs to be.

If you want to be able to pose it, you're gonna have to rig it, which is going to be hell since the model isn't in T-Pose. Which version of the game is that ripped from? The Wii version?

yup, from the wii

in that case the scaling - un-Squeezing is not a big issue then, now its about how to "smooth" =S, and yea the riging guna be pain ! XD

you ripped the 3D model there ... but you need the textures too , in 3dxripper dx you got some options ...

  • +1 to whoever added Godzilla to the main index.
You may want to try using BrawlBox and see if that has better results.
i think we should call it an "engine" so we don't look like total idiots because otherwise we'd be arguing about a "game" and that would be somehow "dumber" than arguing about an "engine" on the "internet" for countless hours
