Hey guys, here's ANOTHER special character that I've sprited and am otherwise involved in!
This was actually started about 2/3 months ago, but it was kept under wraps....until now!
Quickman will likewise be most interesting when playing AGAINST, he'll also follow his original game's attack patterns.
Which means, an aweful lot of jumping and shooting boomerangs at you! His sprites were converted from the Power Battle ones:

That's the palette template for anyone who feels like making some palettes! Here are the ones he currently has, which I made:

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

The video that shows him is version 0.4 (I think...Infinite doesn't mark them that way!), so not done yet, but getting there.

The music is a remix of Quicman's theme, by an unknown author (to me at least),
that ironically I slowed down to fit the video lenght :P

Enjoy!

Another way of saying teach me. :P

Jeez, Balth, you must have an addiction to spriting multiple characters at once or something. Looks good so far.

I don't really have a job at the very moment (I'm just collecting money from my past work  :eaugh:), thus my output has been a bit bigger then usual. I MUST DO ALL THE CHARS I THINK OF! Obviously I wouldn't have this many projects if they'd all be full-fledched characters.

(it's full-fledged)

It looks great, really. It's amazing that you can make it look consistently SF3 throughout the entire sheet :P

Spriting the same character over and over again gets boring after a while. It's nice to alternate between projects so you don't lose motivation.

Technically speaking, while you're spriting the same character, you aren't spriting the same pose, or frame. While I admit it does get boring after a while doing the same character, it must take lot of motivation to sprite more than one pose for them. :)

I don't see why QuickMan needs a re-sprite though. You shouldn't have to fix what isn't broken, maybe other than color separation on an existing sprite. Considering everything else you are doing, it's just putting more work against you.

BTW, is that training mode pop-up part of a particular character shown there, or part of the stage?

little nitpick, but it'd look better if the boomerangs pinged off the wall or floor when they hit, seems a little weird them going through the floor and wall. This looks nice though. If I didn't have to code as much as I sprite I'd be right there with balth with random projects :p

Looks nice, so he won't have any punches or kicks and such?

IIRC, it's just the stage that does that.

He had something similar but it was to cheap so it's gone for now.

When I load it up in Fighter Factory, the whole sprites are just pink colored and have a white background.

I mean the whole colors come out but the sprites themselves just come up as pink, never had any problems like this with your other templates.

Fighter Factory Classic, used it for all templates I've attempted/made palettes for (including all of yours)

I just find it so much easier to make palettes in compared to Ultimate.
