I always wanted some spinoff(s) detailing the 'mundane' life of the average magical Joe, to shine some light in the undeveloped Potterverse. Maybe a prequel set in Sirius' school days, or the Wesley's day to day before they met Harry.
I just want a retcon explaining how all the time turners got destroyed prior to Voldemort getting resurrected. A time travel device gets introduced in book 3 and no one thinks to use it when the most powerful dark wizard of all time comes back.Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyYes I know they all get destroyed in Book 5, but that means they were sitting around for an entire YEAR without anyone thinking "Hmmmm we should probably use one to stop Voldemort"
My headcannon is that those things can only go back an hour or two and then run out of juice (let's ignore the baby headed death eater), and by the time Dumbledore heard Harry's story it was too late to look for one and kick wormtail in the balls.
