Randomly freezes,music still plays

I have 74 characters

41 stages

the version of winmugen is:2001.04.01.

I play through Arcade mode and then my game freezes on certain matches.

What's wrong?

I always check my mugenw file.

the game used to be fine until the number of characters increased.

Would choosing me for the question thread be a
unique experience?  I can't really say.

i also have this problem, this happen random, the game freeze like a pause and the music not stop
this not only happen in arcade mode for me, this happen in any mode, somo times long time after start the fight or somo times in the intro

maybe is for problems with the windows XP or the automatic updates of windows, maybe one of them affect the mugen

PD: and also happen when I use the normal mugen screen pack with less 20 chars

I have Vista.

with lesser characters, it never happened.

Would choosing me for the question thread be a

I also get freezes occasionally, all I need to do is Ctrl + Alt + Del to force the program to exit.

I don't know why it freezes though.


Somewhat returned as a living fossil after 2-3 years of doing nothing.

Apparantly it switched the keys.

usually i use X and it confirms the selection

but with that it's L.

X does nothing..

Would choosing me for the question thread be a
unique experience?  I can't really say.

thats because the patch change the file mugen.cfg in the data folder, and in this file is the button configuration, for that, the keys changed,
you only need to enter in the input section in the opion menu of mugen, and change the keys like you used before

i had to reset my mugen because when it would crash with a error saying it stopped working and is trying to find a solution to the problem.

Would choosing me for the question thread be a
unique experience?  I can't really say.
