Also, sorry that a record costs 10 times as much as what they cost here.
This is the biggest problem.

And you're right, if you can buy a album with a sweet price, just do it. =D
I expect that to happen here someday. =S
couldn't agree more, with both of you. also, what i'm i supposed to do if 93% of the music i listen to doesn't even arrive to my country? should i travel to northern europe, or try to import them myself?

Bought it because I felt the artists deserved the payment, I'd downloaded it a couple years ago and it was fucking awesome.

I'm a freak for new emerging bands, in everything that is pop, pop rock and can be considered as independent rock. Here's what I bought in the last 2 months.

Serj Tankian - Imperfect Harmonies Deluxe Edition

Okay, not an emerging band, at all. :P Second solo album from System of a Down's singer. he's going more and more lyrical, which some people may not like. I personally think it's a great album, and Serj's voice is always wonderful to listen to.

Skunk Anansie - Wonderlustre

After many years of break, they come back with a wonderful pop album. The singer's deep voice is really something great to listen.

Two Door Cinema Club - Tourist History Deluxe Edition (And I got their album signed at a festival)

This emerging Irish Pop Rock band is like my favourite band for this year. Their songs are very dynamic and each single song of their debut album is a must-have.

Dawn Kinnard -  Wrong Side Of The Dream (Signed)

Pure pop album, with a fresh voice. Nothing very original though.

The Strange Death Of Liberal England - Drown Your Heart Again (Signed)

One of the best Rock albums of this year IMO. Rising Sea is a marvelous song, just listen to it !
It's a shame such artists release an album every 5 years because they can't live with Music alone, while dicks like Justin Bieber get all the (bad) attention...

The Vaselines - Sex With An X (signed)

They came back after many years (more than 10) with a fresh new album that will just make you want to dance and live your life happily. :)
AFAIK, Nirvana took one of their songs.

Fran Healy - Wreckorder (signed)

For those who don't know, this guy is the singer of Travis, and this is his first solo album. As he was Travis' song writer and singer, it's fairly obvious this album will sound like one of Travis' albums to some point. Quite a good album for any fan of Travis, but I was waiting for more.

Detroit Social Club - Existence (Signed)

The debut album of this British band. Something to listen for any fan of Kasabian.

Underoath - Disambiguation (Pretty good. Doesn't feel the same without Aaron though.)
Spoiler: Album Cover (click to see content)
A Day to Remember - What Separates Me From You (Decent. I wish they released a new one next year instead of rushing like this.  :S )
Spoiler: Album Cover (click to see content)
Senses Fail - The Fire (Meh. It's decent.)
Spoiler: Album Cover (click to see content)
Ill Niño - Dead New World (Ill Niño just isn't the same anymore. Only liked their 1st and 2nd album.  :'()

Alexisonfire - Dog's Blood (Excelent EP!!! They take a more experimental approach and it rocks my sox!  :sugoi:

Escape the Fate - Escape the Fate (Meh. They ripped off BMTH's start riff from Chelsea Smile in their song Massacre. LOL. Still sucks anyway.)

Reedition of Oceanlab - Sirens of The Sea from 2008

Oceanlab is surely of of those projects I just love because of Justine Suissa who is one of best vocalists at Trance scene & guys from Above & Beyond who are one of the best prpducers in the world. Calming melodies, beatfull vocals & additional remixes on 2CD which give more dynamic & bang feel to tunes. Definitelly must have for any Trance fan & good vocals.

Armin Van Buuren - Mirage (2010)

Latest album of Armin was bit disapointment because it was more commercial, filled with pop-sound like songs & not really catchy stuff (although I liked 50% of songs), but this one is like back to roots for a bit. We have really various stuff here like colab with Sophie Elis-Bextor, BT & great melodies like Coming Home. Athough I personally think best tracks are the extra ones. Everybody should find something nice here.

BT - These Hopeful Machines (2010)

I was impressed with song that both Armind & BT made for Mirage so I checked out latest labum of his & it was awesome due to strong male vocals & nice melodies. They are more progressive & techy but I like it as long it have vocals. Some of song are just great. Guy really have a style & despites it doesn't have uplifting sound in it I like it.

  • ALE ALEJANDRO
My Chemical Romance - Danger Days blah blah blah

Aww hell no. 15 tracks - 3 Interludes = 12 Songs, but only 3 are good
- Na nanana, Destroya, Vampire Money ... and MAYBE Party Poison.
Skip the rest of this disgusting pop album.
I expected so much more, sadly 3 Cheers for Sweet Revenge continues to be their best album.

Brandon Flowers - Flamingo (Deluxe Edition)

YES a thousand times yes! IMO Better than The Killers' Day and Age.
Deluxe Edition includes 4 more tracks that are worth every penny.
Highlights for me are too many to list, so just enjoy the whole thing :2thumbsup:

Next is Two Door Cinema Club as recommended by Cybaster, will pick it up soon! I can talk is on the radio all the time, but also listened to Something good can work and What you know, I know I'll like these guys :fyeah:

Norma Jean's discography. Mathcore at its finest.

Bless the Martyr and Kiss the Child - It's good but technically it's not Norma Jean since it's a different vocalist and concept.
Spoiler: Album Art (click to see content)
O God, the Aftermath - Probably their magnum opus. Not my favourite but still pretty good. Received a Grammy Award nomination in 2006 for Best Recording Package.

Redeemer - My favourite. Awesome time signatures. Best album from them IMO.
Spoiler: Album Art (click to see content)
Norma Jean Vs. The Anti-Mother - The worst IMO. Only has like 2 good songs. Has a few collaborations with Chino from the Deftones and Page Hamilton from Helmet.

Meridional - My 2nd favourite. Just plain awesome. Distance to Planets and Deathbed Atheist kick ass.

Doctor Popular - Beeps and Smudges

An interesting experiment, this album was created using only iPad and iPhone apps to make the music.  And the weird thing is, it's actually pretty good.  For only a dollar, it's a solid album.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble - Texas Flood (1983)

An amazing mix of blues and rock. I fucking love Vaughan's style, so raw and technical at the same time.

I don't by album, because it is boring, I prefer compilation hits of same genre thing, but these days I feel watching video clips is more rewarding, so I watch clips or download clips from youtube.

I'm not a fan of Muse, but I heard some songs in the radio, but never got the songs... so i found 1 or 2 that I know and I found them in this disk. For my surprise, there's 5 songs I already know (and like) in this album, and the rest of themes are great. Simply loved the album, a good choice ;)

The Grammar Club - MC Horse Rides Again

A collaboration between some of the biggest names in the indy/nerdy music scene, this album is an incredible mix of pop, rock and hip hop.  Every single track has something to love.  Oh, and did I mention that they're giving it away for free?  Absolutely worth your time to give it a listen, you won't be disappointed.
