Well... I delayed my MGS SP since it didn't come out the way I liked it to be. Instead, I came up with a similar theme but with more original elements, making it an original mugen SP based on no game theme (just similarities). And this is what I came up with, I feel more satisfied that it came out with better results, of course there will be animations going on, if I have more progress later on.. but this is what I have so far. Enjoy!
I like the concept very much and so much originality here. Keep up the good work and please post more updates. Sorry to hear that about your version of mgs. I know you will come up with something special. In the near future, when time permits.

So far it looks pretty damn smooth. I have a few questions though....1. How do you factor the win percentage? is that something you have to add to the chars? Would there be a patch included with the screenpack if that is the case?2. How do you factor the char stats? 3. Will you be providing portrait templates?Now some observations:1. The sound effect when scrolling through different main menu options seems a little obnoxious (perhaps lower the volume)2. Not sure what the plan is for the select screen, but perhaps you could spice up the select portraits. (Warzone by NoZ is a good example)3. You are doing a great job and I can;t wait to see where this goes!

Nice start man and digging the concept. Now, I would move that loading character out the way. It's crowding that area below, also the stage names are bundle up there. That's if you are going to keep the stage names front. Also, I would put the font over the stage select box. You could maybe add glow around the character small port box's or the big port box's. I would change the selection sounds to something else. Sounds to much like mgs, still that's ok.lol I will do more testing and get back with you. Good luck this has mad potential man. Oh yeah, food for thought, who about animating those categories box's in the main menu.

@BIG BOSS - I'm planning to change the select sounds. For the stats thingy I wanted characters with different stats so it's static. For the small port I could add glow (was actually contemplating on it). Ya I'm going to make fonts for the stage and stuff since that's just a place holder. Hm I would remove the loading character too, don't know whats crowding it up doe. @For less slots you can adjust it in the system.def - I could try and give me the numbers you want.

Ok a lil update - some ports changed. Included morrigan ports. Sound FX changed to not sound like MGS. So far I think the versus screen is alright, I don't know what I'm missing honestly. The "intro" where you press start may need work. The win screen.. hmm besides font needing to be finished but I think I want to add the big TEXT and some transition fx for each screen(if that's possible). Lifebar updated with simul/turns/single altogether.
Interesting setup for the life bars man, if I see in motion. I might be able to give better feed back. Also, great update on the screen pack sounds. Reminds me of a hybrid of Ghost recon and Call of duty.lol Very stylish stuff and clever indeed. Going to make a mock up of the select for my 2 cents on that. Everything you have is on point just maybe we could do some minor adjusting. Either way good stuff cowboy.lol I will post it later on in a bit.
