Hey, I'm looking for a FREE capture device to record gameplay from my Wii so I can post it on Youtube. Are there any programs that can do this?

You realize that will require hardware that you may or may not have.

An alternate poor man's solution is if you have a DVR and a DVD Drive on your computer.

Record a DVD of what is going on. Rip the DVD. Profit.
i think we should call it an "engine" so we don't look like total idiots because otherwise we'd be arguing about a "game" and that would be somehow "dumber" than arguing about an "engine" on the "internet" for countless hours

you can't really record or Wii gameplay (legally) for free, without any kind of hardware or software. There has to be something that connects to your TV to the PC. I suggest getting a really cheap capture card/device (something that is $50 or less), like a Red Dazzle or something.

In other words, there is no FREE way of doing it. Even with emulation, as it is not 100% accurate, still even some games can't be played on the emulators.
