Okay, I was at first considered putting this up at Projects, but, on the gut feeling on the safe side, had to decide it'll end up here.

This is the initial fruition regarding my own Sprite Project thread that I put up a month or two ago.

This is basically Blade, with an EX, as in Expanded Custom Mode. (Which I dubbed over Doggie-Doo's original Custom Mode.) Which lets him play with all of a normal playable character's basic moves; ranging from crouching, jumping poses, attacks etc.

Below are notable moves from his EX-Custom Mode move list: (Though you can only access the changes through said mode or simply set Var(17) to 1 in the character's config.txt file.)

Throw = Hold forward or back whilst pressing the two punch or two kick buttons together

Air Throw = While jumping, Hold forward or back whilst pressing the two punches or kicks together.

Poros = Hold forward then press LK.

Double Punch = Press MP again after the first MP connects; Be it blocked or successfully hits the opponent.


I plan to further update this character, as I have intention to make a "CFJ-ish playable Blade." Now, the question is... How the heck Capcom nerfs characters that were once boss characters? Also i do hope my spriting edits for Blade's new normal attacks are near in Capcom-quality. :p

Never played the original Red Earth, so can't say anything about the gameplay or the char.
But those edited sprites look pretty nice, and I've been already very happy to place him to my roster.

Looking forward to a richer version of this char.

I'm from Taiwan, but I can't find it in Country Flag! >:(

You're welcome~! Hope you'll enjoy playing him.

Don't worry, this guy was an unplayable Mid-Boss character in the source game. You did not miss anything about him at all, gameplay-wise.

Wish me luck on my attempt to make a CFJ-ish version of this character. I am still brainstorming on how to scale him down to a more normal character level.  (No longer having the properties of a boss character.)

Sorry for the long near dead activity. Numerous RL priorities.

Anyway, I just updated Blade's Custom Mode with Taunt and a new win pose prior to the final round one. (Matchover)
