currently I use registry mechanic, but it doesn't have any other function beyond that.
Is there any other maintenance utility software you use/ like?

I just red about "Advanced System Care" and "Advanced Registry Optimizer"
their names are too tacky.... I'm afraid it is another malware

are they good? or are there other/ better ones?

Advance SystemCare actually is pretty good. The name just makes it seem pretty fishy.

I'm using it now and my laptop is running like a dream.  ;D

I have tried
advanced system care free, and it's quite generous with their free version.... actually I don't know what differs from the full version there?

and it can find 980 registry errors (apparently the version of registry mechanic I have  didn't find them as errors), and also I like the smart ram cleaner too. so I'm quite happy with it.

I haven't tried CCleaner yet.

You limit yourself so badly when you try to avoid variables. When you get over your fear of the "complexity" of variables, you will find yourself in a better place: A beautiful world where coding is actually fun.
