Yeah, it's a great character but his AI pisses me off.

The update is looking great though.

This guy was a monster in the [admittedly bit naff] Dust Strikers. Gotta admit, apart from some of the aforementioned niggles the character has, this is pretty damn good. Nice work. ^^

Don't get me wrong, Gig is awesome apart from those problems.  I'll definitely keep it in my roster.

hmm, asides from what is mentioned:

his "armor" has hitboxes...i didn't know if you wanted that because you said he only could be hit on his "angel" body, ex his "openmouth" state, only one i can recall atm.

it is incredible that this file is only 186kbs big.

The big bug body can be hit, but not hurt, which is how it is in the game. As i should be able to plug my comp back in tonight i'll update and upload a new zip. Fixing jump after teleport issue, and the helper bug.

I may include some halfass AI so he attacks more and teleports less. Don't hold your breath on that though.

cyanide, have you actually ever BEAT him? for me, if i hit the angel once, his blue clsn goes away and i cant deal anymore damage, i can only kill him with F1

I got that bug to, but it seems it isnt the damaging, its when he teleport. I think.
It also only happend whenits the AI that is playing.

i guess you could fix it by adding the hitboxes when he teleports

Yep, that's the bug I was talking about.  Even if he is not teleporting, you can NO LONGER HIT THE ANGEL WITH ANYTHING.  Of course, since Gig basically never attacks, all you have to do is hit him once, and then stand still for 99 seconds.

Now you can never unsee it.

Ah, legacy code. Thats gone now and fixes the issue. Reuploading.

Edit: Done. Links haven't changed. Doesn't make him easier to actually kill though.

Still waiting on the oz sound update though.

Nice! I was waiting for this! ;D
But many people think the AI is challenging to hit but i rekon it is not powerful enough :'(
i dont mind the AI, Anyways i like this ;D

My computer has died, and had to be reformatted, wiping everything.

As such, sounds for Gig are on hold.
The cruel misjustice is that I was done, but never bothered uploading it.

I believe Sepp would say something at a time like this...

The boys down at the lab were able to back up some of my files while repairing my laptop.
Those files consisted of my picture and sound files.
So the sounds are back. (As well as some sprites and sketchwork I've been saving.)

Unfortunately all of my applications, fighter factory, and all of my mugen stuff is still gone.
Still, I should still be able to get all of the sound stuff set back up in a timely fashion.
Later. I'm tired right now.

I'm back in business baby. :)
