I agree. I don't know but for me it's kind of irritating because some people feel so proud of it and then start saying stupid shit over it. And yeah I can see why Iced says it can be insulting, like really. If it was a joke star and then it died it really has no reason to be brought back again.
Get rid of it altogether. Do not give it to people who ask for it. It is pointless and dumb and confusing.And this whole thing about using it to show off gay pride is absolutely ridiculous. I think gay pride is a great thing (spoiler: I'm gay) but that star is not the way to go about showing it. Put a pride flag in your sig or something. The star is dumb and we don't need a special gays only star.
