How do I remove the text that appears during battle? The one that has frames and player states?

Press Ctrl+D in a battle (Wasn't it?)
Or even better go to your Mugen.cfg (Open it as Notepad) And search for "Debug" You will see there some options and instructions on how to do/change things, It's really easy.
