Well. In his defense you could say the same thing about Stalin Equaling Communism. I don't think claiming that you are something automatically makes you something. I mean Bush claimed to be a capitalist even though he gave out corporate wellfare and he himself seem to be working for corporations. That is not capitalism that is Fascism, Just like Hitler.

A better way to make your point would have been like this;

Yes socialist madmen like the Presidents of United States and France, or the Prime minister of England, or Germany or Spain, or Greece or insert any other western country. Yes mad men like them.

If they don't understand what you are saying, maybe just maybe then they will look up the word "Socialism".

I never wanted to be a Nazi.

I just liked the Hitler jokes and I do show interest in the history of Germany in 40's.

You know, it really got me to actually like history.

I do reference Hitler here and there, but I really hate what Hitler and Nazis did to those people.

Just like I hate what the Ku Klux Klan from 1800s did.

Would choosing me for the question thread be a
unique experience?  I can't really say.

Communism; huge government, next to no freedom.

Communism has its roots in socialism and is its evolution (degradation). Equating Stalin with socialism is still correct in my opinion, but less accurate than saying he was a communist.

socialism,capitalism,communism,republic, parliament,imperialism huuuu~ whatever name they have they all always have 1 flaw and that flaw will stay forever. even if they reform it a thousand times ,that flaw will always be there.

its not that the systems are flawed, it's that us humans are too broken to make them work.

its  like this, see communism is meant to be played by something like Byakko's Kyo, but instead you get Kong's magneto running the show!

Actually socialism doesn't take away any freedoms. unless you think freedom means that you can piss on the counter at Macdonalds and not go to jail for it.

Socialism means to pool resources. So bigger government is accurate, in the united states we own the government. When I pay my taxes I get stuff I could never pay for on my own. Like the road in front of my house. Or the subsidies given to food and telecommunications.  

Socialism is required to have a good Market Economy despite what Fox news says. With out socialism fox news couldn't get their employees to work, or feed themselves. Because the company would have to pay for its own farms and roads, it would go bankrupt. Yet it claims socialism is bad for the market.

Communism is to actively destroy an entire class of people. The idea is to kill the rich people and give their wealth to an completely equal society, a society  where everyone gets paid the same no matter what. There has never been a true communist country, because the guys in charge are never starving with their citizens which is requirement of Communism. After all everyone is equal. Stalin claimed to be a communist but he was really totalitarian.

The only reason people say socialism and communism together or in the same sentences is because Carl Marx wrote in his "Communist Manifesto" that we would all become socialist and then we would evolve into communist in the future.

When Stalin claim he was a commi and we were fighting with him McCarthy went after communist in this country. He persecuted innocent people as communist when they were just socialist. This was known as McCarthyism.

After McCarthy successfully made the term socialism a bad thing, every politician on the right claims that liberals are socialist, and the left is to scared to say that they are socialist and so is every citizen of our country since 1776.

If you take a Sociology class in college they will teach you about different social view points including Marxism.

If four guys buy a pizza and split the bill, they are socialist.

this here. Marx wrote that a communist revolution could only take place after a socialist revolution, and that it was necessary for it to happen that way. Lenin, thought that it was up to the communists to seize control, and not to wait for a socialist revolution, because russia was different from other nations.

plus names have known corruption during ages (starting to think names are actually the matter of the absence of a correct politic) and why should I care about a manifest that has written by and for people different than me, for a country different than mine, in an age different than mine? (serious question, no interest to be defiant)

plus plus it's not a political-oriented topic, it's just for fun (you can talk politically however and I appreciate the fact many posted info about the correct naming).
