This has been posted into Projects because the code and sprites are still under going change.

Rick Renalds "The Equalizer"

This character is a fast paced, combo chaining, joke character that has been developed over the course of many years,
The original release topic is over here; http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/rick-renalds-iiird-strike--182530.0.html

His sprites had started as an edit of Pepito by Quetzalcoatl_88, but over time and consideration I thought revamping them with a sleeker style would be overall better.

Palette selection so far;

The animations done so far (in SNK(ish) style)

The sprites have been edited from Shen Woo, Ryo, Ryu, Rugal, and many others.
The character is currently being updated, lots of cns fixes, as well as a tougher A.I are in the works.

I will update this topic with any new gifs or news about the character.

Thanks my guy, honestly seeing your KOF Anthology All Characters Pack was one of the reasons I decided to do the SNK sprite style instead of CvS/MvC, looks too fresh.

It looks great.
Look at the lenght of his arms, in some animations they look shorter than the rest.
And try to use more bases and tweak a bit the ones that are already done, moving an arm or a leg you can distance your character from your base.
That’s when I thought, “good grief”
Just ain’t my belief
Until I saw the holes
Inside his hand

Hey man thanks a lot. Your sprites kick some serious ass!

I completely agree. Za Warudo, and Ryo's rapid punches need to be touched up, this is my second attempt at doing sprites in SNK's style so there is always room for improvement. Will definitely post them up when they are done.

Some progress intro wise;

BMW sprite (so far)
(Credit to shadowAOD for the wheels)

I had the windows already done shading wise but it didn't look quite right. I'll keep experimenting until I'm happy with the results
