Extra special thanks to everyone for their support, testing, and pal contributions. For all my other chars, it's miscellaneous tweaks. Like changing the super finish SFX, adding winquotes(except for Yuka), etc. Get them all in my folder at TrinityMugen.

Updates

=4/11/2014=

Rock updated:

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty
-^Midnight Bliss added(thanks Xenomic+Girard)
-Winpose cancel bug fixed(I hope lol. If not, let me know)
-Decreased the vel for HP Hard Edge a bit
-First hit of HP Hard Edge can now be super cancelled
-A few tweaks to timings on several standing/crouching normals

The rock of yours is damn cool. Cant say much there. but i was wondering are you going to add AI to him? Hes ok as is but seeing how aggressive your mai turned out (which i like a lot about her AI) i was wondering if rock will get that same injection later

Cumming buckets right now. Fingers crossed that someone extremely cool would make a patch for implementing his Hi-Res sprites (Also done by a different cool person.) Someone here in the forum did that for vyn's.

Thanks. I didn't make that AI for Mai though. Too lazybusy to learn to code AI. Amanojaku did that because he really liked her. Some of my other chars were supposed to get AI implemented into them. Like Sagat, Skullomania, and Jill... But the guys who were going to do it, have long since gone away. :( Or something to that effect. 2OS and HJK were the ones who offered to make the AI. Someone actually made an AI patch for my Jill though. It's actually really good, though there's a few bugs with it. JTP told me about it the other day...

Oh i see. Its all good man. Trust me i understand AI takes time & patience to cook up right. I should know so no big deal. i was just curious since i'm into AI too. I always like fighting against some aggressive AI as Mai was for example or watching. Good job of those guys who did your AI

I Didnt know Amanojaku (funny hes my current Avatar :S) did the AI for you. for some reason i always thought you did your own. dont ask how lol As for those patches ill look into those. I still have your Jill btw. AI patches are always cool as long as its good and not too buggy of course  ;)

Anyway no props taken away at all. The character is hot and i love using him. The best rock creation in a long time I've downloaded. The hit pauses are solid as hell man. Damn good quality stuff especially on his rising star type super move.


well as for bugs i havent spotted anything major yet. if i see some ill report if no one has already

On the topic of AI, while I agree that AI isn't the most important aspect of a character, it obviously makes a big difference when playing Arcade mode.  It isn't fun to fight a character who mostly sits there as a punching bag.  Perhaps AI wouldn't be such a big deal if Mugen supported online vs. capability out of the box, but from what I've read, that seems to be highly unlikely to ever be implemented.  I'm also one of those unusual Mugen players who thoroughly enjoys watching AI-only battles in Survival Mode.  So for me, AI patches are very important for characters that aren't already coded with AI.

I also wanted to point out some of Jadeeyes AI patches for your characters, which are very good:

I don't want to derail this thread any further but AI has nothing to do with how well a character is made, which should be the priority. Some of the best, source accurate, or just overall solid characters can be said to be way better than shoddily coded stuff with beastly AI. AI is the least important thing when making a character. You should be focusing on getting the gameplay right. Sometimes AI is only good because of deficiencies in the gameplay.

Thanks. I appreciated the support very much. In terms of AI... I don't find it that important, but JZ did make a good point one day when I was talking with him about AI. MUGEN overall is a single player experience. So, I can understand where the demand for AI/a good challenge comes in. Though, my overall opinion on the matter defaults to Umezono's response to it. Also, I just can't be bothered to code it. :P Like I always say, maybe one day. Though, I am more concerned with the char feeling right in the hands of the player,  bug free and all. Rather then pwn you AI.

I don't want to derail this thread any further but AI has nothing to do with how well a character is made, which should be the priority. I also want to note that I do know about those AI patches you referenced to. I don't like the fact that they make my chars 1.0 exclusive though. I also don't know when the last time that guy updated those patches. So, I strongly recommend not applying those, unless they are up to date.
