For some reason I feel like AOF John Crawley's FLYING ATTACK would fit Rocky pretty well. There are some John sprites made by Ironmugen, if you wanted to use them as a base.http://mugenguild.com/forum/topics/second-public-beta-release-art-of-fury-139899.0.html
Hi,I've been working on a stage for Rocky. It's heavily based on Robo Army + some other stuff. Hope you like it so far.Spoiler, click to toggle visibiltyAs for Rocky I'm thinking how similar to Maxima he should be. I was thinking of quite similar normal attacks and new specials. Also I'd like to make a normal running anim for him, the sliding one (from his KOF apperance) would be used for specials only.
xxxXx said, February 21, 2013, 09:13:07 pmHey Magma Dragoon ripped Maxima from Robo Army This might prove useful....For those who haven't seen it yet.I'm thinking on ripping Rocky too. He has some different animations from Maxima.
I'm experimenting with a new stance:new (not animated yet), closer to Rocky / Maxima from Robo Armyand old, closer to KoF Maxima:
Since he is KOF-styled, I would go with the KoF stance. But eitherway, the KoF stance looks better then the RoboArmy stance.
I personally like your new stance edit, if only because it's harder to tell it's an edit than the KOF-looking one.
OK how about this:NEW & OLD I kinda still like the old onme better, but the new one actually reminds me of Robo Army.EDIT:Also his new attack, replaces Maximas 290
Appease both campsPut both anims in the .air file, make one 0 and the other 1 or something.Assign a variable, like, say, var(1)Override State 0 so that it will change anims at Time=0 if var(1) >= 1Make a .txt config file so people can easily switch between the two. Vans' chars have one if you don't know how to code it, it's pretty straightforward. So does my Mr. Jones, but one of his options is a joke option so maybe you shouldn't reference it???Just a suggestion since it looks pretty even so far.

Both stances are to different, mostly legs and hands positioning. KoF stance is made for karate slashes, while RA for punches and so on. I might however employ chages in stance, but the old one stays for now.

Do you still go back to the Project Cyberbots and everything will be done over the those bots.I'm just asking.
