am I the only one that like the new stance instead the old one?with just a few touches, that stance would kick ass, it's cool, it's original... I think it only need a few more frames to add details on it

Your edited version looks great, but it needs to be a bit wider to match the size of the ngbc one.And I agree with the uses you plan to give them, if the ngbc one start moving forward it would end up going out of the screen, while the edited one goes forward.

It is much better, now, they are still different design-wise, there are a few lines missing in yours, the ngbc one do not have that black stripe that goes upward, the holes on the side are on top of the mid part of the vehicle in the ngbc, ngbc one is more rounded, etc.Look wich one you will change to match the other one, they are simple things to edit now, great job.
To be honest I've needed a break form the car. I have however compleated all the normal attacks + most of hitstates, movement etc. some example: I haven't started on the coding yet, buy I've been using a Maxima char as a sprite reference. What do you guys think, would releasing this kind of character (broken as hell) and asking for comments on animation and spriting would be OK?
Somehow a hangover is benefitial to my work... Anyhow throws are done an example:I wanted Rocky to feel similar to Maxima and I think it nails it...I'm gonna experiment with some nwe running anims and after that I'd like to show you a pre-alpha Rocky (very little of my own coding, no specials etc., but a lot of anims done).
Nice things to see here, you cold use the basics from maxima, the original character don't have a extended move set to do, is fine if you recycle things from maxima i think the fighting style fits with rocky

I've tried (and failed) to convert Maximas quotes into a robotic voice, but it sounds like cr get some source material (suggestions please) or work on Maximas voice yet again (a good tutorial example might be enough)...
wHy dont you make alternate voice sample instead of working on Maxima maybne that way you can differentiate Rocky form Maxima
Hi guys thanks for input. I don't have a problem with obtaining voice samples, but I find it dificult to precess them properly... I'm not going to use Maximas quotes mainly because I don't understand Japaneese and don't know what anything except grunting means. Anyhow all regular sprites are done, now I'm working on specials. Btw I've decided not to use Robo Army car as a special, it's just to big (it stays for an intro though). I'll try to work some more on sounds though. Again some resources in the voice department would be welcome...Edit: Enough with the voice for a moment... I'm considering a victory anim: Maxima slides from a rope and dose a buddy byddy thing with Rocky, this should look like this:Do you guys like the idea + should Maximas palette depend on Rockys?
