Many of Ruroni Kenshin's villains are said to be masters of this and the best at that, but they never show any long-winded backstory, so having this as an opportunity to get more Ruroni Kenshin? Yeah, I'll take it.

As a fan, I definitely agree with you. More ruroken content is good thing.  It would be interesting to see why Shishio has such a strong belief in survival of the fittest.

Holy Balls this is going to be awesome shishioh is by far my favorite anime villain he's just so charismatic and straightforward.
