Honestly I felt my XIII Ryu was a good take at how he could work. I wanted to do a different neomax my self but the one I did ended up working out better in the long run. If and when the author comes back as far as DM's and SDM's go keep in mind that it was usually 1-2 DMs with 1 SDM. I broke the rule once but my future stuff will not.
Sony took it down :( Guess it gave people the wrong idea. rip amberlamps.

I enjoyed your KOFXIII Ryu quite a bit :)

I guess what these guys are saying is that since all sprites are custom, they might as well look into adding some new moves that don't necessarily need to exist in one of the available spritesheets.

Oh no I complete understand that, I was just saying that mine represents what is possible atm as far as his combos and such goes. But I had limited sprites and such so he has much more potential than me. For example I think he could give ryu his solar plexas punch among other things.

Well i hope they will finish it someday...cause i was in touch with methiou, and he said he wasn't motivated anymore on finishing the sprites...i was on the point to finish the char but no other sprites it's nonsense...maybe Grief will continue this work and release this awesome character in a near future.

with that i haven't been able to finish it...it's almost a beta...a good one but not enough for a release...

Too bad...  if methiou solve his problem of motivation...maybe he will send me the rest of sprites...or not...or maybe he will send the rest to grief...that would be nice too.... on the one hand or on the other...that would be great.

i've got also the same sprites for Ken in red Kimono...but for now it's a great Stand by.

aaaw man that sucks  :sad3: Man thats all it needs is a good code on the game play and nice AI injection and man this this could be a kick ass KOF XIII Ryu. If i knew how to sprite like that id definitely join with passion to finish it off seriously^^


Hopefully you get sent the rest of the sprites. It would make no damn sense to sit on quality stuff like that which can be put to great use.

i know what a dissapointment it could be for you....so as for me...but maybe Methiou will solve his problem of motivation soon and maybe he's still working on sprites...who knows...just like me and you my friend, everyone is looking with great interest for those chars....never mind if he didn't want to work with me anymore...just hoping that Grief will finish this awesome work...and Methiou find your motivation and take time to finish what you have began some years ago...that would be great...just contact Capcom...you should have a place in their producting offices in sprites department!!! Lol...
