Hey ! Great that you're back in business :)! Looking nice that new jab animation.
The only thing that slightly bothers me is the little toe of his leg leg (viewer's right). It's a bit jumpy :P
Other then that, good job (i take it the jab gets more frames).

Maybe 2-3 more frames for the jab, looks kinda static...

My opinion might not count much, but I also agree that the jab needs at least 2 more frames; other than that it looks good.  :)

Yeah more frames is always nice, but you can always go back too I guess. Just looks choppy is all.

I check this thread from time to time and I must say it comes up very good, but I said now obvious.

As for punch animation remember that frames between the start and straight hand should be very fast so it should be for example:

Maybe just a blurry-arm frame (or arm with some speed lines) in between? I know KOF13 employs that in some of their frames.

I agree, though... it might be so fast that we may not even notice it.

Is this project still alive? Anyway, I felt kind of inspired so I spent some time toying with this:



I don't really have the time or inclination to do any more work polishing these sprites, but if they are of any use to you, feel free to do whatever you like with them.

I find it hilarious that I never knew of this project even while I made my Ryu XIII
Sony took it down :( Guess it gave people the wrong idea. rip amberlamps.

@jean bureau Merci mec c'est un peu grace à toi que j'ai eu le courage de commencer ce taf c'est un peu lent mais je voudrai que le sprite soit vraiment fidele avec ceux des KOFS
@Cazaki lool Slow? indeed but still Man its a full KOF XIII style so working hard on this, to be like the original ones

Also, just to give a pointer, if you need anything like Hadokens and what not, try going for what's in the CVS department, maybe even make them HD if you can't find anything in KOFXIII.
I'm not Crazy...I'm just Mentally not-ill enough....
