I suppose it has some flaws but it was probably the fastest sprite I've ever made (fastest-made? uhh, sorry for my bad english, guys).
It would look better if I only spent some more time with this.

You're right, it's "fastest".

That's pretty good from going from KOFXIII to CvS.  I keep forgetting how monstrously buff XIII made the dudes for whatever reason. The only thing I'm wondering is if the legs to torso proportions are right.  Though maybe I'm seeing it wrong...it just feels like his legs are shorter than they should be. Also dunno if there should be a bit more shading/muscle tone on his right arm (left arm to us). I could also be overthinking that. It's still darn good though!

For what it is, it looks pretty great. Can't really argue with a process that simple.

But looking at the sprite in and of itself, I'd like to see a more vibrant colour palette, and the head needs to be bigger as well. When the resolution is decreased the face simply needs a couple of more pixels of real estate to be defined properly - or to put it another way, because of their low resolution, CVS sprites are generally drawn with disproportionately large heads to make room for the necessary detail. If you blow up a CVS sprite to KOF13 size, you'll notice their head looks pretty massive! So even if Clark's head here is technically more proportionate, it doesn't look quite right for the CVS style.

Like I said though, for what it is it's pretty good. A sprite set like this would certainly fit better into a CVS game than palette swapped KOF98 sprites.

I don´t get why people don´t use those KOF XIII for possible CvS spritesets. Just resizing the sprites gets almost half of the job done... and actually, I don´t dislike the idea of KOF XIII CvS sprited Ralf and Clark.

Xenomic :
I don't know, I think lenght of his legs is ok. Maybe it's his belt that causes that wrong impression. But I agree about Clark's arm shading - I've fixed that already - check my deviantart for updated version of this sprite :)

Jiggeh:
Oh yes, now I can see that. His head is obiously to small :) However it wouldn't be that blatant  if he wasn't that buff, I suppose.  Actually his overal proportions are totally non-cvsish, but changing them wasn't my intention. It was just a quick test. And yes, his colors should be different as well.
Anyway, thank you for the feedback. I allways find your advice very valuable &  I really appreciate it.

Quickfist:
Yeah, it looks pretty cool. BTW... Are you still planning to work on K'?

Aldo:
I'm thinking lately about starting something more ambitious than only making single sprites. Maybe I should give it  a try and convert full sprite set of Clark. It would be much easier with this method than spriting everything from scratch...I dunno. It's just an idea...:P

I wasn't very active here lately, so I would like to appologize to everybody who awaits for fulfiling their requests. I lost some of my motivation for spriting, but I suppose it's getting back - because today I churned out something like that (inspired by Daeron's work on Finn and Jake) :

Here comes Ancient Psychic Tandem War Elephant :)

For those who are not familiar with this weird creature, here's some explanation:

Thanks City_Hunter. It was just a quick sprite made just for fun, though.
I suppose the next one will be Fulgore that I promised to you. Sorry that you have to wait for so long.

Well, we all need to take breaks now and again as I've stated before heh. I do it all the time with my RPG Maker game (sometimes months, sometimes days, sometimes just a few minutes). Do one thing too much, and it'll get to ya. So don't worry about it too much I say! I'm sure everyone understands that at least. ^^;

Heh. You'd be surprised at how long I can wait for things. For the Tiki Midnight Bliss, I had to wait for about 6 months before finally getting that so yeah~ Add on top of that coding something 12 hours a day for 7 months straight for my game...well, I'll let that speak for itself I suppose. Funny that I have more tolerance for some things than others *glares at his own art and spriting*

Awesome concept bro.

Oh, unfortunately this concept is not mine  :P It's from Adventure Time :)
I realy love what Daeron does with his Finn and Jake and I wanted to make something that fits his work. Plus I wanted to make something simple, so here it is :)
