Of course I see why you are talking about this. To be honnest, I don't feel like I'm going to update or finish those characters... I'm not even sure to release those that are "releasable"

Last week, I spent some time to rewrite the pattern of my ClsnDetector C# code that was a total mess. I'm updating it to be Model-View-Presenter compliant, which will be a lot easier to implement background workers that will ensure responsivness.

Yes, it does look good, and that animation in particular has been a pain to edit for me.

Will this be a simple SFFv2 viewer (which would make it not so useful), or a real GUI SFFv2 creator, with possibility to change the axes, add sprites or group of sprites, etc. ?

To be honest, I have no goal to achieve. I'm working on this while it's fun. Anyway, my work will be open source and available once I will have something clean and decent to upload. For the moment, I use a quick and dirty method to convert raw data into bitmap instead of using a library like SDL.

By the way, I saw 2 SFFv2 loader projects that were not able to load LZ5 compressed file because the format is a bit more complex but I got it:

So if I can help similar projects, do not hesitate to ask questions regarding thing.

Ok guys I need someone skilled enough to edit the cheap KO animation done by Walt to fit Andy97 outfit:

I can provide the character spritesheet if needed.

Also, I know that it represents a huge challenge but I would like to give Chris a cheap KO animation...

Any help would be appreciated.

And don't worry, I started Andy 5 years ago so we can consider that I like to take my time :P

Some news:
1. CLSNDetector:
I lost the MVP source of CLSNDetector and I don't have the motivation to convert it again right now. I think I will release it as it is now... Responsiveness improvement might come later.

2. Characters:
- Adding the KOF02UM HSDM BG, resources and code being directly stolen from Vans character, thanks to him


- Adding an option in the config.txt and config.exe to select KOF02 or KOF02 UM BG
- Fixing bugs, thanks to Ebil_Homer's feedback
- Adding cheap KO/collapse animation where it is missing, thanks to Thedge and Walt for the fantastic help:


Characters status:
- Andy, Robert, Clark and Chris are at 98%
- Kensou is at 45%, all his specials of the Psycho Power mode are done, the specials of the non Psycho Power mode and all the DMs remain
