I am trying to use this screenpack, but i am not sure how to go about it. Help would be much appreciated.EDIT: While I'm here, I've also had a bit of trouble with background music. Can anyone help?
rizki29 said, May 12, 2012, 10:21:21 amso what screenpack and what you need to help ?mike.mugen.free.fr/?page_id=33Its a french page, and i found the link on MUGEN Database. I just need to know how to make it work.
sorry for my late replyhere you go :- you need to extract and copy the folder to data file-open mugen.cfg and change motif=data/system.def to motif=data/SPZ3/sysZelda.def- try to open your mugen
In most cases, lifebars are installed by copying and dragging the files into the data folder.Sometimes you'll have to open mugen.cfg and change your fight.def's location so Mugen can find and use the files.

One, one that comes with screenpacks (already installed). Two, dragging and replacing folders and files in the data folder and anything beyond or before it. Make sure to set the cfg to the right system.def and same thing for the system.def.Third, place the folder (new) into data folder. Rename the directory and edit the system.def that you use in game. Extras:Fonts (if it comes with it can be placed in the font directory).Templates can be put in the data folder or anywhere else (though mostly recommended outside of data folder to not cluster your files. This is pretty much it, though if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Quote the system.def is where you change your fight.def info location.Definitely right there... I always seem to overlook the smaller, more important details. Also thanks for throwing out the other methods and going into depth with fonts as well.
