Screenpack wont let me play arcade mode

i downloaded a Marvel vs Capcom 2 screenpack from http://dr4ch1r.mgbr.net/
and i installed it and everything but when i try arcade mode it quits my MUGEN, what can i do to fix it? thanks for the help

Does any error message appear before Mugen shuts down?
Or does it shut down with out any message?

And when does it close?
Does it close after you select "arcade mode"?
Does it close after you select your characters in the select screen?
Or does it shut down after the "VS screen?
And does it only happen in arcade mode?

Anytime i press arcade mode it just completely shuts down. no error message or anything. and it only happens with arcade mode

And this only started happening when you switched screenpacks?

Hm......

Where is the "arcade mode" on the title screen located? (bottom of list? top of list?)

and find the lines in the system.def similar to this:

menu.itemname.arcade = "ARCADE"
menu.itemname.versus = "VS MODE"

menu.itemname.teamcoop = "TEAM CO-OP"
menu.itemname.survival = "SURVIVAL"

menu.itemname.watch = "WATCH"
menu.itemname.options = "OPTIONS"
menu.itemname.exit = "EXIT"

And post those lines.
I'm guessing the for some reason, your menu.itemname.exit is disguised as arcade mode?
That's the only solution I can come up with so far since I never heard of any problem like this.

i tried this and still it does not work. Do you think its the version of mugen im using? im currently on the latest released version of 1.0.

i put the screenpack  in my mugen data folder. and in the data/mugen1/system.def located in the system.def file I changed it to
data/MvC2/system.def

Erm try redownloading Mugen, probably not the SP doing this...

What the fuck... the only time this has happened to me was because of the cursor start cell, but it seems to be working fine in here....
Okay one more question? Are you able to play Arcade mode in other SPs?

Maybe your new select.def for the new screenpack has the number of matches to play set to 0, or the orders could be set wrongly. Check your arcade.maxmatches. Having it set in a way that it's unable to start the first match (no opponents in any orders that are set to nonzero matches,or having it set to 0 matches total) does crash Mugen.

OMFG thanks a lot everyone , i finely got this figured out its working now. thanks to everyone that helped
