Sengoku3/2001 Characters

The characters are 4 button fighters (2 punches 2 kicks)
Light punch and kick together executes dash
Strong punch and kick together executes a grapple, however doing this while blocking executes a counter attack
.

Their combo system will be similar to Sengoku3
The dash cancels into normal attacks the same way it does in NGBC, so its possible to use it to chain together combos.

Very nice, love the work.

Some quick feedback...

- Dash costs power...because of the combo restart, but you could mention it in the readme.

- please add a taunt... small suggestion

- you should mention that d+y is a command move with a second hit if you press y again...

- croucing LK looks strange/to quick

- you could easily add a crouching HK by using the same animation for LK but slower or use it with a slide

- typo in the readme... your "Super Moves" are "Special Moves"

- "Meikai no Ikari" demon should move out of the portal, not in front of the portal

- what about his Sengoku 3 hyper bg?

Very good job, I like it!

If you can add some more intros/win animations.

Nice!  I played the hell out of this series on the Neo Geo when I was a kid.  Here is some feedback:

-  Staubhold had mentioned giving him another kick, you could probably reuse the standing x and even y animations to do a crouching punch as well.  His limited crouching moves felt a bit awkward.

-  The Demo Claw Summon and Demon summon act too similar even though one has greater height and a different range than the other.  Would be nice to see their ranges cascaded a bit so that they show up in different areas.  Think like the tornadoes on Goenitz or Lightning on Mizuchi.  One of them could be at positions 1 and 3, and the other could be 2 and 4 in terms of distance.  This would also help offset how he is extremely vulnerable while using these moves.

-  The other issues such as the taunt and additional polish were already mentioned.  I do have to mention that I love his standing animation.

Thanks for making him and I really look forward to seeing the rest of the Sengoku cast!

It has been a long time since I have played this one, but I could have sworn Byakki was one of the  bosses and that several of them were playable.

It has been a long time since I have played this one, but I could have sworn Byakki was one of the  bosses and that several of them were playable.

Byakki and that fanservice gal whom I forgot the name were second and third bosses, then they become playable.

I'm gonna go with Staubhold and say turn his c.HK into a slide.
Also, I don't care how you do it, give him a proper c.LP. D:

c.HP looks like it could be an overhead by itself (not canceled into from LK), it looks like it's work and it could make up for his general lack of close control.

Then again, chains are kind of a bad idea in his case...
short hop j.HP, j.HK, LP, LP, LK, c.HP>HP, dash cancel
You can loop this and the damage barely decreases. While it takes meter, this is easy and safe to do and does sizeable damage.

(short hop j.HP, j.HK, LP, LP, LK, c.HP>HP, dash cancel) x3, short hop j.HP, j.HK, LP, LP, LK, c.HP>HP, HK, qcb+LK does about over 900.

Byakki has been updated. I did a lot of fine tuning, so you won't notice any big changes. I also changed some palletes because some of them were kinda ugly. Either way, hope you guys enjoy. And now I can really focus on Kagetsura :P

Alright so Kagetsura has been released, and along with that. The final update on Byakki. A lot of things were worked on, most of which will probably be unnoticeable. Hope you guys enjoy! =)
