Francis: Yeah I don't think people would want us to pull what Capcom did with SSF4 AE.

Riggs: For him, maybe I can replace him with Mari Alberto and have Riggs be a regular release.

Maybe I can see if Ness would like to help, if he's not too busy. Do you know anyone that can help? You can ask him/her.

Well, I would be more then glad, if I could code the characters. I just need a spriter, though, because I have a hard time with spriting...

Well, I would be more then glad, if I could code the characters. I just need a spriter, though, because I have a hard time with spriting...

I sent a message to Ness, and he says he's willing to help.

And Duck, I'd be honored if you helped too. And what do you have in mind for Francis?

also how about screenpack,I already made some ideal screens:

title screen needs more objects...

select screen needs backgrounds and stuff...

and for vs screen I already planed something

so what do you think?

DuckSS: Well, your screenpack idea could look good, though it really is hard to judge with placeholder graphics. We'll definitely get back to that later, but first, I gotta finish up some stages and finish up updating Bunny Tracy.

By the way, does someone know, whenever Elirin ever had a spinning attack? I never played any Variable Geo games, so I'm obviously not an expert in that department...

-It's not a bad design, But I want him to be more similar to his brother Musashi, maybe make him wield dual swords as well? If he's going to be a separate character, his intro could be that he is at first a spitting image Musashi, just with a purple chest plate, but then takes off the disguise to show himself. I still want him to have a similar moveset, but with Rolento's moves added to him to make him more different.

Also about the screenpack, here's some of my ideas at the moment.
-Title: Maybe update the fire sprites and add a background like a sepia-tone clipshow of the characters fighting.
-Mode Select: For the background, try an island with buildings in the foreground with an ocean at sunrise in the distance.
-Select and Vs Screen: Like with the Lifebar, how about a mix between the NES and the official version?

Hmm...if only Roman99 (if that's the his name) were here. He is a Variable Geo fan, as far as I remember...
...also, thanks for mentioning the other attack you know about. I may or may not include it. It really depends on how many other characters will have rapid punch or rapid kick attacks...

She doesn't have a spinning attack.  Also I'm pretty sure those rips had the Mach Punch sprites.

EDIT: actually now that I've looked at it a bit, there's quite a few things wrong with the Elirin mode. Like all her charge moves being quarter circle moves.....

She doesn't have a spinning attack.  Also I'm pretty sure those rips had the Mach Punch sprites.

EDIT: actually now that I've looked at it a bit, there's quite a few things wrong with the Elirin mode. Like all her charge moves being quarter circle moves.....

-They weren't there with the sprites I got. I got the sprites from Logical Bends.

-Personal Preference really. I saw Elirin in action on a few video and I thought I could put some of her original moves in Bunny as an alternate mode. And I felt more comfortable with QCF moves. But those commands could be changed with Trinitronity's updates.

-Oh those, I was thinking of the move in the other games that have her rapidly punch slightly upward with the motion blurs for a machinegun effect.
-Luchini's Elirin had the wall kick and I thought it was part of her original moveset.

-Those are from the first Advanced VG game. You'd need the sprites from that one if you want those.
-She's never had one.

Okay, now I have updated Bunny Tracy again:
-Bunny Tracy can now perform the Wall Kick in Normal Mode and Joker Mode
-changed commands for Wall Kick into QCB + a/b
-Elirin Mode's special commands are now the correct ones
-Bouncer Dash enabled for Elirin Mode again
-added some negative edges to some specials (already forgot, which ones)

Nice, nice, very nice. I would really like it, if you could send me PCX files of the sprites you did after you at least made all the required stuff, so I could then work on Rober Pasta next.
There's only one animation, where I have problems, though:
Jump

Please tell me that this is WIP, because just one frame for the jump looks rather weird here.
Also, the dash could possibly look choppy as well, but I'm not sure right now, unless I can see it ingame...

By the way, I may try to do a design for Goho Li as well, using yours as a base.

Sure thing. But is it okay if I chime in my two cents for some of the character's moves after I send them?

For the Jump, it's like that because of the -1 at the end of the animation. I probably should have changed that before I posted it.

For the Dash, it's the same as Mark of the Wolves' Marco.

And before I forget, Duck? I appreciate it but me and Trinitronity were gonna use the design I came up with, I'm sorry.

EDIT: I replaced the jump anim.
