SF5 EVIL RYU in SF3 format 2014!!!

Hi sometime ago truthfully a year ago i had plans to create a SF3 verison of EVIL RYU



i been hella busy, with other projects and school life, girls, clubbing, partying, fapping, and EDGE FEST looking forward to that I luv music too much, but yeah, i just wanted to remind you all i haven't stopped.

Shin lvl 2 Female AKUMA  and SSJ JOKER is top secret for now!!!

But i will allow you all to see some progress i've made with SF3 EVIL RYU!!!


I got this far so far but still working on making him look clean and cut!!

WELL wish me luck and i hope you guys will enjoy, thank you.
Animation is kinda a rough but i'm getting the hang of it!!!


I really need to work on the quality of sprite but for now i'm just going to finish every sprite whenever i can
work on moves and power ups and
combo's
Evasiveness, speed, and A.I.

Then when all that's done i'll finally work on the sprite quality!!!

At this point, I'd really advice you to :
- Take Vyn's Evil Ryu's code and spriteswap him with your sprites. This means you actually focus on the sprites only and make them look good.
OR
- Just use a SF3 Ryu SFF and code Evil Ryu as you wish, which means focusing on coding only.

It's a complete loss of time to make half-assed sprites, go to coding, and come back to  do "quality sprites" in the end. Might as well do things right the first time.

it works well if they are very half assed, so quarter assed or even eight assed; like just make the animation using a stick fiigure, or if using bases, putting the unedited sprites; make teh sff, code the character then go back and make the actual sprites.

Hi everyone thank you all for your input

As far as i have worked this passed few days i have reached this point!!!

Here are some examples

I changed his nose to make him look FRESH!!
I didn't want mines to look like Chorychu so i took it this far!!
I will probably go as far as to use Vyn's RYU to continue sprites to
but it's okay for now I lke the progress
Besides it's all about quality not just half of anything but again thank you for your input well see these results for yourself!!!

I'm sorry, but your walk forward animation has got flaws like a jumping arm or one part of the gi, that jumps, too.
You have to make those things more fluid.
Also, the hair is not animated AT ALL (although I already how much of a bitch animating the hair).

Just keep going man. Youll get it after a while.

i saw some animations in particular with his shoulders twitching there. More so because you got the proportions of them off in size so it looks badly jumpy. Youd have to redraw those better. The walking animations work on that more so the sprites are aligned right and fix the chest area where the hole is.

what i usually do when im sprite editing new sprites for a character im doing is put the guide lines on in Fighter factory to line up with the first sprite frame of his stance so i capture better the alignment of the character's frame by frame motions much better. If the motion are smooth but the animation drawing is a bit off then i keep re doing it till all of them look decent in sync together

well thats my two sense on that using Fighter Factory for assist

That first one looks a lot better.

The second one needs that alignment work just like the first so all the frames are even together and not shaking like that

good effort so far man keep chipping at it!

Yo that hole in Ryu's chest bounces more than Mai's tits. In this case, I'd try the less is more approach.
