The second one is a cut out filter, but what's the first one? Glowing edges?Either way, I've never really liked the second hand effect that cutout produces. You're better off vectoring it yourself, or just using cutout to lay the ground work for vectoring the image. The first one looks better, imo. To be honest, I forgot the filters I used on both of them (I don't have the original PSDs anymore).
