In the original Killer Instinct I think most if not all characters had it.If I remember right, the way it worked was you had to do a combo breaker at some point. Then afterwards, he would occasionally go into 'shadow mode' when doing one of his specials during a combo, which basically meant he would leave 'trails' of the last 4 or 5 animation frames in black and white which faded away quickly. Then when spinal transformed into another character during a combo, sometimes he would go into their 'shadow mode'. I haven't played the new KI, but I think 'shadow mode' is something completely different there.

Jago's sprites don't really look that good to me, I'm afraid. They're quite jittery and pasting SNK Eiji's head on Capcom Joseph Joestar's body does not fit because the two sprite styles don't mesh well at all and his head barely moves in his animations. Speaking of which the animations look very jittery and jerky and he goes from that one flying kick special straight to being back on the ground which honestly does not look good at all.Not a big fan of combining CvS and KI mechanics either as it just sounds like its going to be one big mess.
the sprites are not perfect but they still retain what jago is as a character so that's fine with meim not worried about jago sprites they are not horribleit is how he plays this is first 2d jago not digitized characterthe mechanics are still pots but I made the moves to link into other moves so everyone can play with jago and still feel like cvs and like ki

jago is finished but the spriter would like to test jago before I can post him so here is videos you guys can see while I can start a new character
it's a pots styled character there will be no mercy movesmaybe in future I can make that happen if I can use orchid as a base for jago

so it's not confirmed that I can release jago yet the spriter has not decided yet but I have 2 characters some of you might be surprised when you see them
im not a person to judge the sprites im coding just contact gartanham on mugen multiverse and tell himno one on mugen multiverse are not giving feedback but I respect him enough to code jago
Hmm...what exactly do you have planned for these two I wonder? I recall the original Yoko being pretty decent, so curious as to what you'll add/change about that. Don't know anything about Eve other than she was made by Sankiti, so hopefully whatever you do with her will be a lot better. Dunno if you'll be adding in extra sprites to them for animations or not.
