Because This was split from the release thread and feedback for the character goes there. Furthermore I downloaded the character 3 weeks ago, I compared it to Eli's original Silent Storm EX, and Tetsu. It's the closest remake of Eli's version that has been done so far. But considering it is made up of Eli's files that isn't suprising.

What about I don't care didn't you get rob? This version is the only one I ever actually approved. It's based off my concept and was remade again off my work then off eli's. I still made the concept and if he doesnt host it I will deal with it. Really aint crap you can do about it anyway. Like I said the days of wah wah my code my sprite are over. Long as the person inspiration is mention I really don't care. And again I said if you guys want to chat so much bring it to me. Don't bitch like little girls on forums its punk and not grown up at all. As far as copywrite 3 people came to me about it. Two got it right one didn't its not my job to teach you how to search for things. Nor is it my job to justify myself or my idea to people complaining about rules that aren't lawful to begin with. Copywrite or not you can't own code or sprites over the net. That were made in other programs not owned by yourself. It then becomes fan art and free to the world. So what some uptight stick in the ass people say making up fake rules really doesn't matter to me.

Including the versions never released that I released recently. Don't care what you or anyone else believes. Didn't care then don't really care now deal with it.

Said it in the other post saying it here. I originally made SS and then made a capcom version which was actually vastly superior to the original SS. Then made a cvs version which was even more superior but then I lost interest and quit. I never changed emails or screen names all these years. I was on Eli's buddy list so he didn't try that hard to find me. Hell you can still google me for god's sake.

Here's the order of things I made my SS
Eli made his based off my work
Freedom Edited his off my work/eli work

Things people dont get all eli did was take the capcom version of SS and stuff it into the older version. Because majority of the newer stuff in his version was from the second version of ss. Including the variable combo system that the original SS never had that eli's put in. I consider it all a tribute and say thanks to both of them. Because its just a evolution of the character and idea I stop working on. So I find it funny people keep bitching about certain things. It's not like he had a original idea making his version eli did that is. He just stuffed both versions into the old one. So he did some new code and reripped gave it a different pose (SIMILAR) to the capcom version. I said I don't care its all good have fun. Leave freedom alone because he choose to express his own vision. What he did was take something good and make it better. Like it love it live it and move along do a beta test and find bugs.
Which is why I'll give it out because they both did excellent jobs. And inspired me to remake him yet again along with the other characters in Hi def. So stop bothering innocent people with your tight pants bs rules that don't exist. Should really know by now your dealing with SS you aren't gonna win flaming me.

A point would be the sprites eli used are in fact out of the game kagekagu yaro or whatever it's called. Not capcom at all, however similar they may look.

Aside from taking the piss out of your old character, nothing in that is yours. I don't really care about the release but not giving people the wrong idea about what eli did here is important.

XCB did NOT copy anything from your versions of Silent Storm.

He Ripped the sprites from Kakuge yaro, he coded it himself. The only similarities that it had to your version's were the name and pallet. However he DID NOT release it, because he claimed he couldn't get permission. So he used the sprites he ripped and the programming he did, to make Tetsu Yatogi, and released that instead.

Your Silent Storm's play nothing like his, and never have.

Hell I should know I have them all.

Second Release Silent Storm (Orange/red gi)

Platinum Storm

Dark Storm (Purple gi + edits)

Silent Storm (Capcom Sprites)

If those are out of order then Sorry, It's only been like 7 years give or take.

Actually he was never to programmed to play like that capcom version did fight like that version. But again your missing the point (I DON'T CARE ABOUT FAKE RULES OF CREATION OR HATE) I never did it to make everyone like me. Even played some mmorpg's with him after i left mugen. He told he was going to remake it I said go ahead but then we lost contact. I actually did respond to what you saying about what he reripped. I assume he did it like that because he didn't speak to me anymore on it. So to abide by your ridiculous bullshit rules about creating. He named it that to avoid all of this more then likely. Yea I have changed over the years I would of been arguing all night getting upset. But really like I said you and some of the others amuse me. Because you really think your actually bothering me or anyone else trying to police this. Your wasting your time really I told you it stops here. The irony is the mania came about because he wouldn't release it because he wanted your green light back then and people still wanted it. Way to fuck over someone that gave you that much respect.

I didn't give him the finger and he had already asked me to do it so i dont know why he didnt. I remember that conversation very well. Your taking what you want from the whole thing attempting to make drama so you look better. All of this is truly immature and really a waste of time. I wasnt there then for whatever reason I am now. The character is out minus objections if he was here now im sure he wouldn't care. The only difference is im different from him and i really dont see any reason to dissappoint countless people who wanted it on the net. Because you a-holes following some imaginary guideline on making things. I can google over and over wheres SS anyone got a link. I approved this to end that mission accomplished. Eli showed me respect and I said several times in other post I loved that tribute and freedoms. So you fail at trying to make me look like i didnt care.
