If like me you have a few motifs and would like it to look a bit more organised, here's a really simple old school way of making a menu for them.

I have 16 different screenpacks for Mugen which makes my main folder really cluttered with all the .bat files in there, I figured, duh, why not just make one .bat file?



Well I like it anyway  ;D

To create it, just open a wordpad document like you normally would and enter

Spoiler, click to toggle visibilty

Just edit how many selections you'd like (the %input% commands have to be in reverse order as above)
and put your own folder / motif names in place of mine. Save it as a .bat file and you're done. It's that easy. Your own little front end.  :sugoi:

You can add a few more commands to make it look better if you desire, more professional.
And the best thing, now running off a DVD or CD you can autorun the menu everytime you insert the disk.

*I just realised there may be a few Windows Vista users out there. I'm not 100% sure nut I think the set /p command has been changed back to Choice, as it was with older windows versions. If you have an issue with it, just let me know and I'll do a quick edit.

oh someone has, there's quite a few frontends floating about. The problem is, none of them work for me. I always get a resolution error.

I just thought as I was using bat files anyway, as quite a few people do, why not try it like this, keep it really really simple.
