I say that is when THQ was at their peak.

If only you can take people backstage like in No Mercy or do the grappling struggle like in WCW vs nWo: World Tour.

Also, it wouldn't hurt them to put in international wrestlers like they did in World tour as well.

And it would be awesome to see a dx and nwo ring like there was in world tour.

Hell, you could even rake out someone's mask off the expose their faces in that game. There was even bleeding in it.

Downgraded creative mode??

They added more stuff than last year, they added more hair, more accessories, more clothes, they even brought back the EYE PATCH!

U know, the 1 they took out 07.

Smackdown VS Raw 2007 was a piece of crap! Terrible loading, same boaring old season mode. Although sometimes it feels like that in 08 as well, it has way too many new features to be called "Worse than 07". U cant compare 07 to anything, it sucked horribly. And they create mode is way better on 08. 07 almost made me never wanna create a person again.

If ur gonna make a choice between 07 and 08, then get 08. Or u can get 07, if u still wanna use last years wrestlers with no Extreme Rules match and flaming tables and have EXTREMELY LONG LOADING!!

One more thing, 07's loading is soo damn long, sometimes i forget the match i picked. 08's loading is better.

I don't think that creative mode was downgraded. I think that specific elements of their previous games has been downgraded.

Here is my list:

- Actually taking someone back stage for a backroom brawl in 5 different rooms (No Mercy)

- Making the person bleed from continuous eye rake or ripping off their mask in the same way (WCW vs nWo world tour)

- Random Interfereance (Wrestlemania 2000)

- Grappling struggle when two people grapple at the same time (WCW vs nWo world tour)

- Famous wrestlers from all over the world either than the ones in WWE hall of fame (WCW vs nWo world tour)

- And finally I think the game is sexist not to allow female wrestlers go on matches either than normal or ironman.

The game and gameplay has improved since the beginning but they take too much out of the older stuff for me to exactly seeing their wrestling engine meet its full potential.

07 was one of those games where I loved the customization and hated fighting in it, you spent more time on the ground bashing keys to get up than anything, you couldnt enter female fighters into almost anything pertaining arcade modes, you couldnt pratically compete in any balanced way against the cast using someone you had created... One of the worst games I ever fought with, saving grace was really the custom engine, that was simply superb. Far better than soul calibur.

I know that they can bleed but in WCW vs nWo you could rip someone's mask off to expose their faces. I know it is not a necessary thing but it would be interesting to see.

A woman can't do a ladder match? I remember two people that were able to be on the same league with men:

- Manami Toyota (aka Black Widow, aka Flying Angela)

and

- Chyna

I know there are some that would say that Trish Stratus can do a ladder match but I don't really think so.

It is not a necessity for women to be in hardcore matches. But you have to agree, they deserve more than just ironman and normal matches.

The only masked wrestler in the game is Rey(not counting CAW)
Remember..Casey this is a WWE game. &gt;_&gt;

Woman in Ladder Matches = No. :P
Maybe Hardcore(Match)..though.

You can do a hardcore match with a woman..just turn off DQ in a singles match. :P

BTW..Chyna left, and Manami Toyota..has never been in WWE. &gt;_&gt;

if u didnt, i sure as hell was going to eventually..


1 more thing about 07s loading, sometimes i forget the match i even picked and get DQed for hitting someone with a weapon.

I dont think their going to add it back, without some how ruining it. Dont get me wrong though, I do want that hair back too, I miss being able to make a somewhat decent SSJ Goku.  ;P I would have to agree with shadow about the loading in 07 is killer, though 06 for the PSP was massacre on the loading. I can become decripted old man, die and come back, pick up that same PSP and still see that loading screen of Jimmy Hart pointing at me with that devlish smile. Now I have never really played 07 or 08 for the PSP,but am pretty sure its not any better.

You know what? You're right 9999. I guess I got to get used to the fact that this game is a reflection of the WWE.

But still I cannot say that I am not disapointed that they didn't do more with the engine.

But more on topic: What is your favorite Primary and Secondary wrestling set in svr2008?

Mine is Hardcore and Technical. Why?

Pros:
+ Allows me to raise hell.
+ I can heal significant damage with hardcore resurrection.
+ Weapon grapples FTW
+ Full momentum on bleeding = Makes people wish they didn't do that.
+ Reversing strong grapples when in full "health" = You can't touch me. *Cena hand movement*
+ PIT manuver = Opens up vunerable spots.
+ Irish whip fake = same thing but without moving

Cons:
- Not every match is a hardcore match.
- Would suck if I made myself bleed with hardcore ressurection in a first blood match.
- In resurrection I can be easily interrupted.
- Weapon grapples can be reversed.
- When I am not at full "health" I cannot reverse strong grapples.

But for me, this primary and secondary mix suits me well. What about you guys?

lol on the devilish Jimmy Hart smile joke.

But the SS Hair looked better in 06 than it did in the First smackdown vs raw.

I want them to return the old hair from HCTP, the size edits and everything. If i can edit its size, i could make Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan again like i used to.

And Super Saiyan 4 Goku, thats right, i didnt just stop at SS1 Goku.

And they took out Shao Kahn's glasses!

The main reason i get wrestling games is to make CAWs, hell, i bought Day Of Reckoning when it came out and made Sonic The Hedgehog, Shadow, SuperSonic, Emerl *Yea i really did*, Dr.Eggman, Bison, Shao Kahn, Shin Akuma, Liu Kang and many many others without having to look at other's formulas.

Im pretty sure i made a Sonic CAW in DOR before the 1 guy did who posted videos about it. I can even make him in Wrestlemania XIX.

So ima contact THQ eventually to flame them for wut theyve done.

Im a Fantasy CAW creating genius.

Is this game worth buying???? cause Im buying 4 new games (already decided on 2..2 more 2 think about)I  mostly hear negative stuff about the game
