I'm having a little problem in stage development, maybe I overlooked something but I can't find a solution for it.

This image has 31 colors if I'm not mistaken, when adding it in the stage .sff it has no color loss at all, but when seen in game...

Might need to zoom it a bit to see the color loss, it's not really a big one but I'd like to have as less as possible.
I tried the "spliting it in smaller parts" method but still loses colors, specially on the purple wall. Even changing the color depth parameter in the .cfg file doesn't seem to fix it, any idea?

I remember Ziltama saying he used some trick to get around this in his Kaori stage (or was it another one?), might want to look into that.

It's actually quite simple, mugen is stupid and renders in 16 bits, while everything else uses 32 bits. If you want the mugen screen to be accurate to your screen, you have to amke the sprites in 16 bits. I think insanius spliter also has that step.
