So i'm trying to make Saisyu with cvs graphics...

But i'm a newbie at this and I am screwing it up badly. Here is the lolzy sprite i made.

Messy as crap. It is obvious I still need work, but I don't exactly know where to start and what to fix. Feedback and criticism needed.

Hm, it's OK for starting, but here are some points that you could use for working:

- HEAD: No problems here, Sir!
- "JACKET": Even you're doing rightly, you could play a bit more with lights and making some better folds. At his right forearm, there's a straight line that should not be there as it is: It could be smoother with the others that goes behind it. His left sleeve is a small mess: try by using the first green(lighter) in wider zones.
- CHEST/BODY: It's OK. But I'd suggest you to look at Joe's chest for fixing it: It would help better than my words.
- BELT: Just PERFECT

- Under Belt zone(part of the jacket): Here's a small mess, given that you CAN finish th lowest part with the lightest green without so much problems:).
- LEGS: Here we arrive with a problem that everyone makes(including my old myself). You're placing more or less rightlythe lightest green here and there, but the second green should not use those LONG lines: putting 1-2 or AS MUCH 3 pixels on(depending on the zone or the effect you want to give). The way is it now seems a "decreased" SNK sprite. A similar style could be CvS Yun, even he uses more of 2-3 pixels...but dunno why, they do those works

- SHOES: PERFECT!! If you think you can improve something(but I'd say they're perfect), just look at cvs Haohmaru for references.

OVERALL VIEW: It's an awesome start, dude. Just look at other/s sprites for taking references on what could gives you some problems. And of course: practce, practice, practice(that's the better school).

For the jacket, yeah I forgot to get rid of that straight line when i modified the size of the sprite. For the left sleeve, by first green you mean the lightest green of the jacket, right?

Everything else, i think get it.
