This. One of my chief benefactors (she feeds me and etc., in exchange for clean litter boxes - she has lots of cats) shocked me when she was saying that "they shouldn't be in here" (they being Muslims) because they didn't believe in the Christian God and were terrorists (this shocked me in particular because said benefactor is a liberal  ). I wanted to tell her that he was a psychiatrist and all of that, but she wouldn't listen, and kept saying that the US "is a Christian nation" and all of that bullshit. If it was someone else, she probably would've said "that guy should've gotten help", but again, anti-Muslim prejudice kicks in.
