I also love using Astaroth (Lots of staggering/off rhythm attacks), Mitsurugi (He and Yoshi are basically the same base), Voldo (To fuck with People), Berserker/Rock (I hope Berserker is in it!!) and Assassin/Hwang (lots of pokes). I used to dabble a lot with other characters, but yeah, Ivy is a monster and Yoshimitsu will always be my all time favorite fighting game character.Speaking of which, I really hope they do include Berserker, Lizardman and Assassin. I love their grunts and banter during the VS screen.
Nice. Hell I remember playing this one way back before I even really got into fighting games, should be fun to play again.

Am I missing out on any new character entries at all??Seriously guys, I am having a mind-numbing nerdgasm here knowing that this is being released, and the fall is pretty close. I had my hands on this game back when before it was released in the states; my friend let me borrow his GameCube import and I got used to kicking ass with the stock controller (using the D-Pad no less). I played this game so much that I still remember all of the moves to this day (Well, a few here and there need a refresher). More importantly though, I attended Calibur 2's tournament at Otakon in 2005. And ranked 9th out of 350 people. I am not making this up. That also marked my interest with using Ivy since I beat this dude who nobody could touch since all he did was the same stupid pattern over and over again. I just took that pattern and fleshed it out. Shit... now all of Ivy's stances are coming back to me. I am going to hook up my X-Box come tomorrow and get to refreshing my movelist knowledge.
