Just like Tekken Revolution, this one should maybe not be taken seriously. Its looking like an experiment made with old ressources.
I believe this is finally out in the US. It's free so I'm going to give it a shot and fuck yeah Taki.
S.D. said, April 23, 2014, 02:16:07 pmAmazing game. No one can connect to the servers so you can't get past the title screen.I can't even fucking DOWNLOAD the piece of shit. Everytime I do it gives me a stupid download time like 4362 minutes and if I cancel it out my fucking PS3 freezes.
Easiest game ever. All I do is Press X at the title screen and I've beaten the game. The error 1098 ending is rather lame though.
That's just splendid. It'd be nice to know, that the most important part of an online game would... you know, have online working properly. Great job Namco.Strangely this isn't an issue for the JP version.
I downloaded and installed the full thing, but have yet to fire it up and even if I did so I'm not getting past the menus. I wonder why this went so bad, I don't think Tekken: Revolution had such a hitch.
Probably because such a low budget was given to a game using current-day technology (Namco would've been relentlessly scathed if they did this with a full $60 game). The budget to make this certainly wasn't very high.Tekken Revolution had design issues when it first launched (no practice mode, couldn't play with stats off, couldn't choose character unlocks). Ridge Racer Driftopia had issues with failed purchases and bugs involving collisions. Can't wait to see what Ace Combat Infinity will be plagued with. Those ruined the experience of the games; this problem prevents people from playing the damn thing. I believe F2P can be a great thing for gaming, but it's up to the developers to not half-ass the launch and patch afterwards. If the beta's to be believed, it's pretty damn fine in terms of functionality. Shockingly enough. It didn't have as much forced network-based bullshit as Revolution and especially Lost Swords anyway.

The closest I ever made to actually play the damn game was the quest screen, and I can't even get past that. Never seen a game like this hit a snag.Edit: And now I can't even get to the menu. Quality servers here, folks.
At least I could play the game a little, wasn't a good experience I felt that most of the time spent watching menus and loading screens, then I got to the first fight that was a tutorial so it wasn't very fun, after that tutorial I got to a menu again but none of the options of the menu were available at the moment except the store option so I couldn't continue playing, really a very weird game.
Yea, they make you go to the shop somyou earn about microtransactions. Oh and give you one of those premium chrsts which I'm sure will always give you a weapon for your current character in this case.
Mgbenz said, April 26, 2014, 02:41:37 pmDoes the game seriously have a random item box DLC?A staple of every F2P. At least the better ones allow you to get something like extra goodies or a guaranteed rare thingamabob, even if you don't get the ultra-rare whatsit.
Ugh... What a steaming pile of crap this game is. I've beaten the first two chapters in the prologue and that's it. It won't let me reach the 3rd part without booting me out because the servers are cheaper then a $2 Korean whore.I'll be happy to get 100% on this game and delete it when I'm done.
Taybear said, April 30, 2014, 05:34:33 amLiterally everything for this game has been working fine for me. But, but, but... Ugh. Maybe it's on my end. Maybe it's not. Still, I'm not happy with the way things are going here. I mean, it's been a week and thanks to server issues, I've barely had a chance to play the game.
that's weird, I downloaded it sunday, and the only day i experienced minor server issues was yesterday morning, that's it.
