Superheroine costumes have always been revealing/sexy but my issue with the costume is the fact that it screams more schoolyard slut than anything about an actual true blue superhero(and not even tongue in cheek like Empowered).

I have nothing against revealing outfits but really hate these since they have absolutely nothing to do with the characters and their personalities and backgrounds shown in the previous games.Makes me want to yell something at Harada or whoever else is responsible. This is garbage.
Niitris said, October 22, 2014, 01:07:11 pmOh look, another new outfit.I'm on the same side as GBK. The issue with this costume is that it's...way too stripperiffic for any character, even Ivy. That's been the issue for the last couple of costumes I've heard about and it's the same here.Thank god they give away free S Rank armor-costumes for logging in every day, as I got a classy and elegant dress for Sophitia...now if I can get a date to unlock Pyrrha...
It's not even the "outfit doesn't fit character" thing, though it doesn't help. The outfit is supposed to be sexy and revealing and I like it.But, this isn't exactly a game people are running off to play (Megacritic score is 38). Gives the game a bad look, moreso than the usual criticism. Most people would rather this game be forgotten about if the backlash is any indication. It's one thing to have these kind of outfits on even a decent game because at least it can be defended on other merits.I'd feel a hell of a lot better about this game if Namco would just outright say "one of our main objectives of this game is to simulate the most attractive females in video games." They're doing a great job on that, but that's about as much as I can say.

They're doing a great job on that, but that's about as much as I can say. They fail at that too since the models was good...back in 2008. Due to the fact that most of the characters are recycled straight from SC4(especially Sophitia since they shove her and Taki into the spotlight the most and since they are ripped from SC4 wholesale...), it just doesn't look right. You may be on the point there, but I still feel that this is something that honestly doesn't work and I am the type of person who loves revealing bodies too, it's just that while this IS better than the superhero costume, It just feels...eh.
The game plays badly, has bad "Micro"transactions, the costumes are bad, and Namco can very much just use it all as an excuse for making no more Soul Calibur. And that's what I dislike the most.
When will Seong Mi-na's challenge appear? I'm already angry for having missed Amy in that damn ranking event, I want to unlock Mi-na.

Screw that.
Such poor commitment to Cassandra. Not as if there are better uses of $60, like buying a new game, or paying for living expenses.
