As of late, we had to deal with some spam problems. In particular, humans register and start posting spam, so measures aimed at keeping bots out (like captchas, or anti-spambot questions at registration) don't really work out.

To keep spammers at bay, there is now a limit on posts, which is at most 3 posts in a timespan of 15 minutes. This limit does not apply to users with any kind of star in their profile, the first of which you get after 10 posts. This effectively means that only newly registered users are affected.

We hope that this does not inconvenience genuine users, but makes spamming unattractive.

15 minutes seems kinda long .
