Attention soldiers!
Time for a general clean up!
we are gonna be revisiting every sticky, every important thread and every essential part of the help section to make sure everything is updated and in order.

A lot of info is so out of date.
Or can be updated in better ways.
This thread will be used to discuss how to upgrade those!

Bring us your suggestions, your points, your remarks. There are no stupid questions.

We also need the tools section to be finally acessible from outside means and not just through the threads.

I'd put the "Handy site/forum stuff" sticky I put together here from pearls from the Valodim Thread in the Information section, but who else would bother to maintain it?

I have been talking to ICED about making sure the stickies get maintained. That's the hardest part in maintaining a forum. Generally only 1 person keeps them up. It becomes expected and it's a very un thankful job.

I suggested it before, here it goes again - now that there's an AI trigger in the latest Mugen Winane's AI activation tutorial no longer needs to be a sticky. It'll still be available as before, but an excellent resource as it has been, the need for it is dying down as the new versions take off.

I think you're confusing that with the Lau Tzu quote about people barely being aware of the existence of the best rulers.

  • Somebody PM when Caddie is no longer a mod.
I sticked the new mugen wiki as a way of shameful self promotion. I'm not sure if we should take down the old yet though. I'm pretty sure it is dead and buried, but until I steal that domain I suggest leaving it up. Who knows, they might come back. Here's hoping.

Agreed. We already took down MI and RS. Now we need to absorb Elecbyte. Then we could rule the universe as father and son.

MUGEN Wiki is DEAD!!!!
Also, there's a shit load of tutorials that are useless. They're easy to find. Just look for the ones with all the terrible feedback.
Consider the archive for things related to the DOS verison.

Also All That's Left is fine with the 4 stickies now.

We already took down MI.
Ahem!! Who's "we", white man?

What about a topic that brings all the good basic tutorials around the forum? Like a guide for newcomers or something like it.

--Renegade Mugen was THE reason for the downfall of mi, hands down.

--winane's ai tutorial should still be stickied, as the winmugen hack is still our main mugen game and the most widely used one.

if anything winane's thread should remain sticky'd, and have a tag in the title hinting at the winmugen hack only use
